Andalusia Blue Beach — Local services in Red Sea

If you are on budget but want to be accommodated close to a nice sandy beach and don't have high standards, this hotel is for you. Do not expect anything fancy. There is only a small reception of size of a small office with zero facilities. No restaurant, no lobby, no common place.

Positive: next to very nice sandy beach (even though first two rows of sun beds are reserved for owner’s family) next to the beach there is a restaurant belonging to another resort where you can have a nice meal or drink it looks nice from outside elderly hotel employee carried our 20kg suitcases up the stairs, no matter of his age, which is impressive 10min from the airport no salesman at the beach

Negative: Dirty rooms, dust everywhere Very little storage place in the room, none in the bathroom Doors and beds are creaking very small fridge that needs to be defrosted In our room the balcony door were broken - unable to lock them No hairdryer No safe box Only a kettle with 2 cups - no coffee, tea or spoons No restaurant, breakfast is served in restaurant 200m from hotel - you can’t choose what you want, you simply get one plate of food. Coffee was bad Hotel is full of local people, staffs’ ability to speak English is poor Unpleasant surroundings Beach has a snack bar where only local currency is accepted, no card payment Wi-Fi available only at the reception, not in the rooms Only one room towel and one beach towel provided - no towel for hands...

We arrived late at 11pm at night and the check in was smooth the guy at the checkin was really sweet and helped us with the luggage. Now the room we stayed at was to say the least not the cleanest and the shower was dirty when we arrived. There were 2 beds, one had sand under the covers and the other had hair that was definitely not mine and stains which indicated that the sheets werent changed after the last person left. While checking in we paid extra money for the breakfast which is available till 11 am we were they at about 10:25 and we stayed a total of 10 min before the menu was given to us and then we ended up ordering an iced coffee however even that we didnt get cause the guy that was present in the restaurant claimed that he was waiting for the barista however he was making other guests the drink they ordered which os disappointing. I stayed in the restaurant till 11:10 waiting for the coffee till i left since there was no working ac and people were smoking inside the restaurant . Not recommended for the short staying AT ALL! We came earlier, 2 ladies and the child, 4 y.o, and understood, most probably we can't get the room earlier. But the hotel has a beach access, so, we asked their permission to let us to wait our check in time at the beach. The beach was empty. The beach staff just asked to take at reception the beach card. But the receptionist completely refused to give it to us, saying "it's the rules". We offered to pay for it, but he just said no, even though he had these beach cards. I know, there are rules, but to let us to wait our check in time at the beach will cost the place nothing. Such things are called a hospitality. I used to go to this hotel since the first year, it has been opened, and recommended to all my friends, it was friendly and the coincidence price-beach-hotel was reasonable. But after we had there last time, definitely I will not go there again and mot recommended...
