Title: A Spicy Adventure at Thai Garden – Where Tofu Meets Turmoil! 🌶️🍍
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
If you’re looking for a culinary escapade in Hurghada, look no further than Thai Garden Restaurant. This charming eatery is a delightful oasis that promises to take your taste buds on a tropical vacation—minus the sunburn!
First things first: the vegetarian options! Let me tell you about the Tofu Noodles. Imagine if your favorite noodle dish had a cozy little spa day—soft, silky, and oh-so-relaxing! The tofu was like that friend who always shows up to the party: a little bland on its own, but once it mingles with the vibrant veggies and spicy sauce, it transforms into the life of the party. I was practically doing the noodle dance at my table!
Now, let’s talk about the Pineapple Fried Rice. This dish is like a Hawaiian vacation on a plate! The rice was fluffy, the pineapple chunks were sweet, and each bite felt like a tropical breeze. But here's where it got interesting: I had to channel my inner archaeologist to pick out some real chicken that had somehow crashed the vegetarian party. I’m all for surprises, but I didn’t sign up for a chicken excavation!
Despite my unexpected poultry hunt, the flavors were so delightful that I could hardly complain. I mean, who wouldn’t want to play “Where’s the Chicken?” while enjoying a delicious meal? A little adventure never hurt anyone, right?
The ambiance was just as inviting as the food. The decor is a charming mix of tropical vibes and cozy nooks, making it the perfect spot for a date or a solo mission to devour all the tofu noodles in sight.
In summary, Thai Garden Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone in Hurghada. Just remember: if you're vegetarian, keep an eye out for any rogue chicken trying to crash your tofu party. With flavors that dance on your palate and a location that feels like a hidden paradise, this place deserves a five-star salute! 🍽️🥳
P.S. If you find any chicken, just send it my way—I’ll take it...
Read moreThe outside looks fine, but inside is very old and looks very cheap. At first the food smelled good, but when we ordered it and got te food it was very disappointing. I ate in many restaurants before but this is the worst restaurant ever….
It’s sad because at the location are a lot of hotels and a lot of tourists/tourism.
The waiter was very pushy and annoying by asking EVERYONE to leave a 5 star review. The reviews are in my opinion fake and I think people leave a 5 star review because they feel bad for the staff or something. The food was DISGUSTING, we ordered dumplings and got slime balls which were cold, sweet and just not good. The the wontons were not wontons, these were a bit luke warm and had barely taste. Every plate is decorated with sad pieces of lettuce, cucumber and carrots. The curre was not a curry, it looked more like milk which was dyed red with some oil on it. The chicken was just sliced in the curry and looked sad. There was eggplant in the curry which made me almost throw up. The rice was meh. The sauce around the prawns tasted nice but the prawns itself had a weird texture and after taste. The only thing that was okay was the noodles with chicken.
To top everything off, there were insects or bugs (i dont know exactly) in the salad decoration on the plate with prawns. After we saw this we left…. Its just a very sad restaurant. Please do better and upgrade literally everything, try looking up recepta online on youtube or something because a decent curry is not that hard to make.
And to people who want to eat here, please don’t. There are better restaurants...
Read moreThere were so many things wrong here. We specifically told them about a peanut allergy. When they brought the dish (we ordered the same, one with nuts and one without) we asked them specifically which one has nuts. So they pointed us the one without nuts. Well, turns out that that one actually has the nuts. My friend almost fell into an allergic shock. And at the end they even wanted us to pay for this. The other dishes were also not good. We wanted one really really spicy and they were like “oh our chefs are from Thailand and they do it very spicy” and it was not spicy AT ALL. The pineapple fried chicken rice came without chicken. When we asked him, he said “oh I’m professional, believe me there’s chicken inside” so we emptied the whole bowl infront of his eyes and guess what? There was no chicken. They made it new but it’s just all really annoying. And yes, it’s still cheap for Europeans but for Egypt they have quite high prices and that’s definitely...
