Mandarine Lebanese Restaurant — Restaurant in Red Sea

Came here at 7:30 PM for dinner. When we arrived, we were the only people in the entire restaurant. There were 5 of us at our table. Another group (also 5 people) arrived a few minutes after us. The table that arrived after us received their food and drinks before they even took our order. The waiter finally came around to take our drink/appetizer orders, and when we received our drinks and appetizers, the other table (still the only other group in the restaurant) had already finished dessert - yet they still hadn't taken our entree orders. No one came around to refill our drinks or check on us. Our dirty plates were sitting in a pile at the center of the table waiting to be taken away, yet no one came by to clean the table. They seated us directly next to the speaker that blasts music at full volume, and they refused to turn the music down initially until multiple people from our group complained. The service was slow, and the staff was disrespectful.

I would understand slow service if the restaurant was busy or if the other patrons received slow service, but it was very clear that we were treated differently from the other restaurant-goers which is...

On the recommendation of several people over the years, we finally made it to this restaurant. I wholeheartedly endorse the previous recommendations.

For Hurghada the location is very good, but as it is on the main drag, therefore I can't quite give the atmosphere 5 stars. That said the patio is comfortable, the music authentic and not overbearing. The service was very good, Mustafa was very friendly and accommodating.

The food was delicious! To start a fresh mango juice...you can't get anything like this in Northern Europe...this is the real deal!

I had a selection of cold Mezze plus one warm one in addition to a Manakesh and Fatayer with spinach. One better than the next, the suffed grape leave were absolutely amazing. My partner had a Kofta dish that was also fabulous. Pine nuts in the meat...superb idea. Well spiced but not overpowering.

To literally finish us off, a small plate (well actually the plate itself was quite large) of Lebanese sweets...very tasty and not as sweet as thier Egyptian...

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The place was spotless—too clean in the best possible way. The staff were incredibly cheerful and welcoming, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere. And the food? Absolutely more than delicious—every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented.

But the real reason I came—and will keep coming back—is because of Mr. Mohamad Sayed. His exceptional hospitality is unmatched. I can’t thank him enough! He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. His kindness, professionalism, and personal touch truly made the experience unforgettable.

Thank you so much, Mr. Mohamad! You’re the reason this place feels like more than just a restaurant.
