I did not have card to pay online. I see many people come here and write good . We went to book at hotel, they gave us price if include breakfast will be 2000 Egyptian pound/ day . At the same time price on booking I saw not the same. When I checked in, I looked again to check, then I showed them price is not the same. I won’t take breakfast. Then they charge us 1500 for including breakfast. Breakfast for 2 people have nothing that make me happy , a dish of some small slice of cheese, butter 2 small boxes and jam 2 small box, yogurts ( the pictures I took is breakfast for 2 adults )with Egyptian breads. We stay in Cairo we know what is traditional Egyptian breakfast is. This is so disappointed, about prices, about what they try to introduce us . Also first room they gave it to me, feel small and toilet has bad smell, I have to ask to change room as well. And we have no fruits while staying I saw staffs preparing food for another ppl come to get the room. So I ask them what different? Then they give me fruits..???? What??? My partner and I recently stayed at this budget hotel as the starting point for our adventure-filled trip. We were looking for something affordable, yet convenient, and this place certainly met those expectations.
The location is perfect – right in the center of town, which made it easy for us to explore and book tours for the days ahead. The staff were absolutely wonderful. All in all, a great choice for anyone looking to explore the area on a budget, with the added bonus of friendly and...
Read moreI stayed in Lamera Hotel 3 different times and they did not disappoint once. My first check in at 3am, I was welcomed with two shots of Egyptian whiskey which I happily downed. They kept our bags safe when we didn’t need them while spending a night in Cairo. Also, one of the staff helped me mail my postcards when I found out on my last day that the post office was closed. Aaaalso the lift is cute as hell.
Location is 10/10, right on very-walkable Sheraton Road, and I just enjoy hearing the noises from the streets. If you don’t like hearing cars honking you should stay further away from the Main Street because Egyptians honk a lot!
Anyway I had a great stay and will definitely stay there again when I visit...
