Casa Hostal Makoi — Hotel in Departamento de La Libertad

So thankful I found this place. I highly recommend staying at Casa Makoi. The location is just steps away from surf spots, on a quiet street, and near everything. The owner and staff are amazing and so friendly. The owners dog, Pepe, is also a cute addition to the hostel. I decided on a private room and it was plenty of space. The bathroom was good size. The room was spotless and equip with aircon. Food was delicious! The environment of the hostal is relaxed and so chill. Again, I highly recommend staying here and cannot wait...

The place is just so cozy and comfy. Even though it is at El tunco, it is a quiet place where you can easily relax. The food is great, and the people in charge are very attentive and kind.

One important thing to know before you decide to stay here is that, they do not have their own parking lots, so you would need to leave your car in one of the parking lots nearby and it can cost you around $10 the day.

10/10 everything was perfect. Unfortunately we only stayed two nights, but it felt like so much more. We are on a bicycle trip around the world and desperately need a break. We were so welcomed, the staff were incredibly friendly, the room was simply excellent (clean, air conditioning worked perfectly, shower was a dream) and the pizza was amazing 🥰.
