The Cabins — Hotel in Departamento de La Libertad

Our stay at this hotel was a mixed bag. On one hand, the proximity to town was convenient, allowing easy access to amenities and attractions. Additionally, this place was quite a bit cheaper than other places in the area. However, there were a couple of significant drawbacks that affected our overall experience.

Firstly, the traffic noise at night was a major issue for us. As light sleepers, we found it difficult to get a good night's rest due to the constant flow of vehicles passing by. If you're sensitive to noise, this might not be the ideal accommodation choice for you.

Secondly, the lack of hot showers was disappointing. We understand that this is not always a given in warmer countries, but it's essential for guests to be informed beforehand so they can make appropriate arrangements - especially for those who were planning on staying for a longer duration.

Don’t stay here if you want a place to sleep!!! There are frequent electrical outages.

The locks on the cabins don’t work, we were locked out for a full night and didn’t have access to our cabin or our stuff until the next morning.

You can get locked out of your cabin very easily. It happened to us and they did not do much of anything for us . Their locks either run out of battery often or very easily get water damage.

In a place that rains pretty often they said that because it rained that their locks didn’t work so it wasn’t their fault.

Even though their locks are outside and not covered at all which they could have easily covered up.

TINY rooms for a high price. Was very noisy at night from the passing cars, as it is on the main road. Was very hard to find the first night we got here as well (with no receptionist or worker at nights to help). The room is absolutely TINY, with hardly any room for our stuff. There's no lounge or lobby to chill in when it's raining you literally walk straight into your room which is not fun. With a TINY bathroom, and showers don't have hot water. Would highly recommend you stay elsewhere, there are much nicer and bigger places that are in better locations (on the beach or closer to it) for...
