I started with a beautifully braised elk roast, and I was blown away by how tender and flavorful it was. The elk meat was perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and paired so well with the accompanying sides. It felt like a true taste of Estonia’s wild nature, showcasing the local game in the best possible way.
For dessert, I tried the bread pudding, and it was a delightful finish to the meal. Warm, comforting, and just the right balance of sweetness—it’s the kind of dessert that makes you want to savor every bite.
But what truly made the meal extraordinary was the flowering quince sparkling wine. It was a revelation—light, crisp, and beautifully floral. The delicate notes of quince elevated the whole experience, pairing perfectly with both the rich flavors of the elk roast and the sweetness of the dessert. It was a unique drink I’m so glad I tried, and it added a special touch to the meal that I won’t forget.
The service here was exceptional—our waiter was warm, kind, and attentive, making us feel welcome from start to finish. It’s clear that the staff here genuinely care about providing a great dining experience.

The meal began with a delightful surprise - complimentary bread made from the head chef's family recipe, served with Estonian butter. This thoughtful touch not only showcased the restaurant's commitment to authentic local flavors but also demonstrated their pride in sharing Estonian culinary heritage.

Located in the heart of Tallinn and just a short walk from the main square. The place is beautifully decorated in a clean and elegant style. There are indoor tables across two floors, as well as outdoor and garden seating — all tastefully arranged and designed with the customer in mind.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. When we arrived, the indoor tables were either full or already reserved, so the manager kindly suggested we sit in the garden area. Despite the chilly weather, it was equipped with heaters and blankets, making it a cozy and pleasant experience.
We were in a bit of a rush since we had to catch a ferry back to Finland, so we informed our server when placing our order. She promptly communicated this to the kitchen, and the service was incredibly fast.
The restaurant offers complimentary bread and butter to all guests — the bread was fresh, soft, and absolutely delicious.
Despite being a group of six, all our dishes arrived quickly and were beautifully presented and full of flavor. I didn’t manage to snap photos of everyone’s meals, but I did take a picture of my own plate.
We would definitely return here if we visit Tallinn again. Highly...
