Shame about the management, despite funky modern design and friendly staffs. Travelling in a group of 8 people and rented our skis from an independent ski shop, we were told by the manager that our skis can’t be kept inside the hotel as we rented them somewhere else???? They asked us to leave our skis and poles outside of the hotel at our own responsibility. We couldn’t even keep skis in our room because ‘it will damage their hotel”??!! What kind of a ski hotel is this? Also, the manager said that they only keep skis rented from their own rental shop in the hotel locker. She even asked us to go back to our ski shop to keep them overnight. The shop was 15 minutes walk away at the base station, which makes no sense for the ski-in- ski out option of this hotel at all. I have to mention that the reason we chose that particular rental shop because it was recommended by our ski school and not that we were trying to save money or anything. I chose Snowlodge because of their ski-in ski-out option. Had I known that the manager was very petty and made it such a big hassle for our group, I would never booked this hotel. Extremely unprofessional and they made us feel so frustrated!!! About the facilities: The double rooms were very small. Their suites are more spacious. Soundproofing was not so good. Amenities within room are basic. Breakfast has good view over the mountain but the food was average. The hotel has one tiny pool 2x4m, 2 small indoor sauna/steam rooms, an outdoor pool that was not warm enough. NOT...
