Alpen Art — Restaurant in Albertville

We went for dinner at Alpine Art today. We were seated promptly as we had booked previously and the staff were quick to serve us and gave us an amous bouche which was nice.

I had the fish of the day and my partner had the chicken nuggets and also the Alpine Burger.

When my fish arrived it was raw and I did not notice until I had eaten half. I didn’t want to cause a fuss as the staff had already had a complaint not long after we arrived. My partners food was ok but the portion/quality was not equivalent to the price paid. He got a child’s portion rather than an adults.

I was sick in the bathroom of the restaurant about 30 minutes after I ate the fish. To be aware the bathroom was not clean, there was a lot of pee splashed under the toilet seat.

When I told the waiter to be aware that my fish was raw and that it could cause food poisoning for other customers he simply said ‘ok’ then carried the dish away.

We asked for our bill straight afterwards and the mishap was not mentioned and we still had to pay the full price of €31 for the raw fish that I received.

The food took a while to arrive and once it did one meal was cold and the rest were average. because we had waited for so long for the food to come the person who had the cold meal decided to not have a fresh meal made and that he would prefer the meal to just be taken off the bill and he would go elsewhere after everyone else had finished. the male who served us tried to offer him a 'alcoholic shot' because he was unable to take the food off the bill. He turned down the offer and the guy serving us brought out the bill still with my friends meal included. In the end they finally took my friends meal off the bill because we refused to hand over the amount stated. We will not be coming back and even though it looks posh the standards...

We visited the place yesterday in a group of 6 people. We ordered starters, wine and main dishes. The beginning was quite promising. The starters, service was ok. The problem started after 2 hours of waiting for the main dishes ( it was already 21.30). Few times we asked to be served and finally we were told that there is a problem in the kitchen and the main dishes are not available and in fact we have to pay for starters and wine. The manager was rude and said that we can wait but she can’t promise that we will be served. So we left restaurant and we lost the evening because it was already to late do go any were. I definitely don't recommend THIS PLACE. Too risky...
