We were excited to stay this boutique hotel because we found this was featured from small luxury hotel. Sadly, it is not a very disappointed stay. We booked for 4 nights in deluxe room and one night in standard room at the first day because we change our plan in Paris last minute. The front desk was very friendly to upgrade me one night from standard room to deluxe room #35 that I can stay 5 nights in a same room without any request. We were very appreciated for this. However, the room was NOT clean. The shower white curtain was very dirty with some mildew.. we looked forward to have a dip in bathtub but this dirty curtain made us very uncomfortable to use bathtub. We did not request to clean our room for five days but the hotel did not offer any new towel or clean up the old towel we put on our door. The hotel seems not maintain well because we can see peel wooden window frame in our room. Moreover, the hotel has some design defects in their room. The bathroom doesn't have toilet paper holder that we need to put toilet paper on tower hanger. And the shower head doesn't hang on the right height that we have to holder the shower head all the time while taking shower. The pictures of room on hotel website looks really beautiful but it turns very uncomfortable and inconvenience to the hotel guest. We did not have chance to have breakfast even though the pictures looks so good but we can't trust any pictures from hotel anymore. To be fair all the hotel staffs we met were very friendly and helpful. The location is really good. However, we were very disappointed about all the materials in the room. Please understand if this hotel brands itself as a business hotel I won't write any compliant. It charged over $300 per night (not in fashion week) Unfortunately, we do not recommend this hotel, it is definitely NOT a small luxury 4 star hotel. Just a regular 2-3 star business hotel. P.S. the hotel states it has mini bar in room but it is just empty small refrigerator with two bottle of water. And no...
Read moreThe worst hotel experience At a price of more than 300 euros per night, I was provided with a room on the ground floor facing directly onto the street. Because of the poor sound insulation of the windows, all passing people and cars were very audible. It was impossible to sleep in such conditions, which I informed the reception staff, who, however, replied that the hotel was fully booked, and another room could not be provided. I informed the Agoda that I could not stay at this hotel because of the noise and asked for a free cancellation, to which I was assured that they would do everything possible. I had to look for another hotel at 12 am. Within two weeks after that I repeatedly wrote to Agoda asking for an answer on the cancellation of my reservation and a refund. Agoda replied that the hotel does not give an answer to my inquiry, and they send another request. I called the hotel and the reception specialist informed me that the manager Caroline decided to withhold the cost of the first night, and for the remaining 3 nights the funds will be refunded. It sounded unfair, because I spent no more than 30 minutes in the hotel and left it because of unacceptable staying conditions. As a result, after two weeks of correspondence, Agoda informed me that the hotel refused to refund the funds in FULL. Moreover, the hotel referred to the fact that I allegedly did not address them with any claims. What is this, if not a deception? I talked to their reception twice about this situation and explained in detail the reasons for canceling the booking to Agoda through which I made the reservation. If you want to spend almost 1300 euros for not staying at the hotel and get a blatant lie in response, you need to go to the Charlse V Hotel in Paris. I will add that Agoda approached the solution of the problem formally and did not provide real help in...
Read moreExtremely disappointing! To avoid unless you enjoy wasting your money!
Stayed in this hotel 2 weekends ago and only encountered issues!
After checking in and entering my room I noticed that the bed was poorly made and that the inside of the closet and surfaces were filthy, thick with dust and the floor under the sink had dust and other peoples hair… hard to believe for the price you pay! After this I went out for diner, upon my arrival back to the hotel I find the person at the desk outside smoking and drinking what looked like a glass of whisky! Not very professional behaviour…
Following on to the next morning I go down for breakfast and was very underwhelmed with the breakfast spread, considering the price! Very basic and no gluten free options (we are in 2024) in a hotel of this caliber these things should be accessible….
Moving on to later on in the day I come back to my room around 3:30pm, having left at 10:30/11am to my room having not been visited by housekeeping! I was extremely disappointed to come back to my room as I left it concidering I’d been out all day. I called the lady at reception to ask if this was normal and what we could do to resolve this. I was told that housekeeping had gone for the day and there was nothing that could be done and that the person at the desk was alone for the night. No offer to provide a free drink or any compensation…
Later on that evening I came back to the hotel late at night after being out for diner. The hotel door was locked and no one answered the buzzer for 5 minutes, so I started knocking louder and looking around to see who’s there. Only to find the person who’s meant to be manning the desk fast asleep at the back of the lobby on the back bench (where guests are meant to eat breakfast).
I would never stay at this hotel again and would suggest you...
