Charlène Ramon — Local services in Paris

I walked randomly into this salon this past fall after moving to Paris and was treated to the most amazing experience ever. They are extremely welcoming and I won’t reveal all of the little special things they do so you can be surprised when you experience it yourself! I have returned at least 4 times and their service and friendliness is consistently excellent. My French is a work in progress but I am always treated kindly and it makes it easy to just say “yes” when Charlene asks if she can cut and color my hair how she would like! Everyone speaks at least a little English and Neha is a lovely assistant who is very fluent if you happen to need a little extra translation. I have always left extremely happy with my hair and I highly recommend this salon. Prices are very reasonable for Paris and even compared to the US. This would be a great place to go if you are visiting and want a really French experience-and I am pretty sure this place is unique and special to Paris as well. I have been in the city for a while and have tried finding a salon via instagram and local app called Treatwell - I happened to walk by and then saw the google reviews so walked in.

The staff was so friendly from the moment I entered the salon. Top-notch service. I wish salons back home (LA) would be this premier. Fair price for the wonderful job done.

My hairdresser was Celine - who was a sweetheart and did am amazing job with my hair- it was brittle from a last colorist - she brought it back to life with a new cut and color.

Some pluses: nice salon, professional staff, a place for a relaxing time (if you have the time). Some minuses: expensive, the owner constantly criticises her staff in front of clients with little remarks (which stresses me out), and it sometimes feels like the owner is trying to force her more conservative style on clients, rather than adapting to what they want.
