This was our 5th stay but the first in 7 years, and we were concerned whether it would be as good especially since it has changed hands in that time. ||But we needn't have been!||It was just as excellent as always. All the staff are very friendly and professional, and you get a lovely warm welcome on arrival. The whole place is spotless and the rooms are comfortable, decently sized, and also incredibly clean. The provision of a fridge - and a safe - are nice touches, too. ||We opted for breakfast and would definitely recommend it; lots of choice and everything is kept topped up when it's busy. It's also a lovely space in the basement where it is served, with comfortable seating and you get to see the old stone walls. ||The location is perfect, within 5 minutes walk of Gare Saint Lazare train station - which also houses a shopping centre, including a grocery store - and a 30 minute walk from the River Seine and the Louvre. It is also surrounded by bars/restaurants; we highly recommend Terasse Saint Lazare for dinner or even just drinks sat outside, which is literally 2 minutes from the front door. ||We had two rooms this time since my Dad was travelling with his (his first time in Paris) and he was extremely impressed. ||Value wise it's pretty good as well, considering just how centrally located you are and the high quality of everything. For 4 nights in July (which was, bearing in mind, 2 weeks before the Olympics) we paid around £190 per night B&B.||We honestly won't stay...
Read moreStay away at all cost ! I had initially booked a room at Exe Panorama, in the 10th, for a business trip as it offered a great location close to Gare du Nord and many of my clients' offices. When I tried to check in, I was told that the hotel was booked "over capacity" and I'd moved to another hotel of the group. Given that it was fairly late, I didn't have any option but to agree to it.
I was then moved to their St Lazare's hotel and I barely got an excuse for this incredibly poor experience. I also hadn't been warned by email in advance which is not acceptable. The rooms there were tiny and the hotel is right above a metro line so there was some noise/vibration during my whole stay. When I came to check out, the hotel first charged me twice on the bank card I provided, before they noticed, apologised, and told me I'd be reimbursed the difference in 3 days.
I was not offered any commercial gesture from their end, even after many protests from my side. All in all, I will never come back to this hotel group as it is very poorly managed and the room quality was poor. Given my awful experience, I will share this feedback within my company to make sure we stay away in the future.
I would...
Read moreFirst many thanks to our dear friend Inzo at the reception, he was so friendly and helpful. Showed us the rooms first before booking and all through our stay was helpful and even on our leave we were going to forget all of our jackets and he brought them to us. The rest of the stuff also are good, they all can speak English, french and spanish.
It was our family vacation and the guy we booked his flat was rude and didn’t answer and we found this hotel by chance.
It is Located less than 5 minutes walk from both the Liege and St Lazare Metro stations. The famous Moulin Rouge is certainly a walking distance.
So close to Lafayatte, Alot of cafes, supermarket with nice guys, shops and even medical center in front of it.
The rooms are not big but clean and anything needed they will provide.
They told us that there will construction going on to the front of the building for 3 days and it was ok for us. WiFi was perfect.
Recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to go to Paris without using all the money on hotel.
Only the windows need to be fixed and small noise and vibration will be felt because...
