La Belle Quille — Restaurant in Paris

Aug 2022 Food is amazing!!! Ordered a steak and it’s surprisingly good! Price is reasonable and the great service is not something u can find easily in Paris😆

1/9,2023 One year after, I visited again, the place is still nice and cozy, staff is still nice but not gna lie, food was disappointing :(

I came this time with my wife, ordered the same plate for myself and beef tartare for my wife, the beef tartare was okay but the rib eye steak I had, it was full of tendon I could hardly chew it, also I asked for medium rare but it was quite over cook

I asked the staff if it was actually medium rare, he explained yes and every steak is different which I totally understand, and they were willing to change another steak for me so I gave it another shot. Sadly this time when it came, the steak was almost RAW.

I still tried and finished most of it coz I didn’t wanna waste food, I’ll attach the photo for you guys to judge.

I love the Asia Love cocktail which is filled with summer fruit favorites with rose favor. The paradise mocktail is also great.

Atmosphere: typical French style Location: 10-15 mins walk from Lafayette and located in a not so busy area. The outdoor dining is facing the alley that’s prefect for dining. Nous sommes venus à 4 adultes, 1 enfant de 3 ans et 1 bébé de 4 mois. On a gentiment été installés au début sur une table de 6 avec la banquette. Puis un serveur est arrivé en disant qu'il allait nous enlever une table, que notre fille de 3 ans n'allait pas prendre de plat, qu'il n'allait pas monopoliser une table pour ça, que ce n'était pas un restaurant pour les enfants, que c'était n'importe quoi de mettre notre fille de 4 mois sur la banquette. Il a refusé ensuite de faire une frite pour notre enfant alors qu'il servait un supplément frites pour une autre table. On a pris 4 plats, 4 desserts et une entrée alors que la table d'à côté se partageait une simple planche à 4... (Eux n'ont pas dû se battre pour garder une table). Les plats étaient très bons même si le mien est arrivé froid. Au lieu de m'en refaire un autre il a été simplement réchauffé ce qui est vraiment limite surtout avec le poulpe grillé qui devient vite caoutchouteux... Les desserts étaient vraiment très bons, peu sucrés et légers. Bref une belle découverte culinaire mais nous n'avons pas passé un bon moment. Le serveur s'est excusé à la fin en disant que nos filles avaient été très sages et que souvent ça se passait mal avec les enfants... Nous n'avons pas eu de geste commercial pour autant.
