I had a wonderful stay at Maison Axel Opera Hotel in Paris, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with the service. My flight arrived earlier than expected, so I was only going to drop off my luggage in the morning as check in wasn’t until 3pm but the staff kindly informed me that my room was already ready, allowing me to check in without any extra charge. The team was consistently friendly, greeting us whenever we left or returned, which really made me feel welcomed. The room was absolutely fantastic. It was spacious, clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable.The room was well-equipped with a kettle for tea and coffee, plus complimentary water bottles that were regularly replenished. The bathroom was also spacious, featuring a fantastic light-up mirror perfect for hair and makeup. The housekeeping staff kept the room spotless, with fresh towels and cleaning done frequently, making it a pleasure to return to after a long day of sightseeing. Wi-Fi was reliable, and there was also a safe in the room, adding to the overall convenience.|The hotel's location was my favorite part. It’s situated in a superb area with everything you need close by. The metro station was just a few minutes' walk away also used Uber or Bolt, which was affordable and quick. Many of the must-see tourist spots were within walking distance, including the Louvre Museum (20 minutes walk ) and the famous Galeries Lafayette, which was only about a 10-minute stroll away. Montmartre was 20 minutes walk away, and the iconic Maison Louvard bakery was just a 5-minute walk, perfect for a morning treat. There were also plenty of great restaurants, bars, and even a supermarket and pharmacy right outside the hotel. For the price, the hotel offers fantastic value, and I would definitely stay again without hesitation. I’m already planning my next trip to Paris and will be sure to return to this gem of a hotel. The only minor downside was the lift, which is quite small. It can only fit one person at a time, so if you have a lot of luggage or are traveling with a group, it might take a while. However, this wasn’t a major issue and didn’t impact my experience in the slightest. The controllable air conditioning allowed us to personalize the room temperature to our liking, ensuring our comfort at all times. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring Paris.
The bathroom in our room looked fresh and new, adding a touch of luxury to our stay. It was well-maintained and spotlessly clean, which we greatly appreciated.
The hotel breakfast was a true highlight. The delicious spread of food provided a perfect start to our days, and we thoroughly enjoyed the variety and quality of the offerings. It was a delightful way to fuel up before our adventures in the city.
The hotel's location was ideal, with easy access to the metro and a wide selection of restaurants in close proximity. We could easily hop on the metro to explore different parts of Paris, and we had no shortage of options when it came to dining out. The nearby pastry shops also tempted us with their delectable treats.
The staff at the hotel were exceptional. Shakir and Letetia stood out with their unwavering helpfulness and friendliness. They were always available to assist us with any questions or requests we had, making us feel valued and well taken care of throughout our stay.

My husband and I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights, it was a really bad experience: No towel provided - on the first night, when we wanted to take shower, we found there is no towels in the room. My husband went downstairs to ask for towels, the staff said the drying machine is broken, and try his best to help, but he can only find half-dry towel, my husband didnt take it at the end. In the morning on the other day, my husband went to pick up towel again, they can provide only ONE dry towel, and gave us two half dry towel when we asked again.
The lift is small and slow - the lift is small which can let only 2 persons to fit in, and the lift is slow too.
Only one staff at night - only one staff at the reception at night, when we asked for towels for the first night, asked if they can send somebody to send us towel, but he said he can't leave the reception, because only one staff at night.
