Our further update to our Paris visit at the Hotel Westminster. Our previous review of the Hotel in January 2025 was so very positive and now we return for a further 6 nights in February 2025 at the Hotel Westminster. It was once again such a pleasure to see Yves Wencker, General Manager, who is truly a gentleman and is overseeing some wonderful innovations for the Hotel. We enjoyed having several chats with him during our stay. He is an extremely genuine and caring person. It is so nice to be warmly greeted by all the staff at the hotel under Yves leadership. Throughout our two stays at Hotel Westminster, Gianantonio De Pascale, Reception Services Manager, was absolutely professional in every possible way. When we arrived at the Hotel, we had a few issues with our room which Gianantonio immediately rectified to our absolute and total satisfaction. In fact he could not do enough to ensure our both stays in 2025 was absolutely superb. His professionalism, kindness and attitude is first class, all being a reflection of his amazing people skills. Again, all the staff throughout the Hotel were fantastic, friendly and totally accomodating. Jean Charles Cormier always so warm and friendly. He has been working at the Hotel for many years and we regard him as a friend. In the past he has undertaken request for us which were not part of his duties. It was such a joy to see him again and all the assistance he has provided us during our 2025 stay has, as usual, been extremely appreciated. Special mention to Eric who has been here for many years and as usual has been of great assistance to us and it is always lovely to see a warm and friendly face. The breakfast was very good with new additions each day, which was a nice surprise. Oliver, Marc, Paulina and Charlene from Le Celedon were fantastic. The Jazz night at Dukes Bar on our second last night at the Hotel was just delightful. It drew a big crowd, the food and service was great and the musicians played to perfection! This has been our second visit this year, and the service at Hotel Westminster has been absolutely faultless. From our previous visits in January 2024, the enormous improvements in every aspect of the Hotel’s operation is very evident. It has a wonderful ambience which is very warm and welcoming. Again, I have to say this visit was again a 5 star...
Read moreAlthough the location of the hotel and the rooms itself are good, we had a very negative experience largely because of the receptionist named Natascha and there were several instances that left us feeling very uncomfortable:
We requested for early checkin since we reached by 10 and check in begins at 3. It’s understandable if this isn’t possible, but the way she explained it to me and my family was very rude. She said saying things like ‘ the cleaners have 112 rooms to clean, I can’t tell them to clean your room specifically’ etc. it was unprofessional and left a very bad impression. I can’t believe this is how they would treat guests here.
Then she informed us that both our rooms are on separate floors. On requesting for rooms on the same floor, she said it’s too much to do since rooms are auto assigned. I told her I could speak to the manager to request the same. On hearing this, she immediately gave us rooms on the same floor.
When we were finally given the rooms, (one at 2:30pm and one at 3pm) she tells me it’s a busy day and no-one is available to take the luggage to the rooms and she can’t let me know when it would be possible to send the luggage to the rooms. I could see the staff right there but she insisted no one is available and she she said she can’t promise how long it’ll take to send out luggage to the room. It was a vacation for us! We needed to freshen up and leave the hotel since we had a day of activities planned and I told her this. I offered to take the luggage myself but there was a flight of stairs so I had no choice but to wait since I had a few suitcases. She said she’d let me know when someone is available but it could take some time. Thankfully, I spotted abdul who is another staff member who very kindly and promptly got my luggage sent to the room. Thanks a ton to Abdul!
Im shocked at the level of service being provided at this hotel. They claim to be a 4 star hotel but their service and especially the receptionist was only rude and dismissive throughout. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you’re an...

I’ve never written a review like this in my life, but what happened at the Westminster Hotel in Paris (Warwick Hotels) on April 7, 2025, was beyond shocking—it was terrifying, traumatic, and absolutely unacceptable.
A stranger—a woman who was not a guest—WALKED into the hotel off the street, passed RIGHT IN FRONT of the reception desk, went up to my room, and stole everything. My Rimowa cabin bag, iPad, Louis Vuitton duffle, Chanel Classic Flap—gone. She entered and left the hotel like she lived there. Not one staff member stopped her. Not one questioned her.
When I reported it, the staff had the nerve to tell me no one had entered my room after supposedly checking the cameras. But when the police reviewed the same footage, they saw exactly what I described: a woman walking out of my room with my belongings in hand. The hotel tried to cover it up. They lied to my face while I was in a state of panic and shock.
I was treated like a nuisance. Like a liar. There was no apology, no urgency, and no support. My room had been ransacked, and the staff made me feel like it was somehow my fault. I was so shaken I couldn’t even bring myself to leave the reception area—I felt completely unsafe, like anyone could walk in and do it again.
I was forced to cut my trip short and return to London the same day. I paid €174 to change my train ticket and demanded a full refund. Eventually, the hotel refunded me €758.16 for the stay and the ticket change—but only after I pushed hard. No compensation for emotional damage, no acknowledgment of the trauma. Just cold silence.
This wasn’t just a bad experience—it was a security disaster and a complete failure of basic human decency. I was violated, dismissed, and left to deal with it on my own.
Avoid this hotel like your safety depends on it—because it does. If a stranger can waltz into your room and rob you while staff pretend nothing happened, this is not a hotel. It’s a...
