Everything you may have conceived about French beer, is about to be radically upended by an IPA induced paradigm shift!
Remarkably, not only have we enjoyed 2 incredibly well-constructed IPAs, but quite possibly the best fish and chips of my life… All right here in Paris.
Everything about this unpretentious and incredibly friendly brewpub, left us in a beer bliss. We were greeted immediately, and without reservations, and for those of you who know Paris, this usually leads to be somewhat tepid response from the person who greets you. Not at the Frog Hop Pub.
Having sampled the West Coast, IPA and “Hop Juice”, I was highly impressed with the freshness of the aroma and flavor of these two beers. The Hop Juice really showcases, lovely spicy, and cocoa notes.
The food was sensational. We enjoyed the pulled pork barbecue tacos and a platter of fish and chips, which rivals some of the best I’ve had in Oxfordshire. The beer batter was expertly coated and fried to the perfect Crispness. The chips are absolutely homemade and very artesian looking.

I stopped by to watch the Nadal-Federer Wimbledon 2019 semifinal and was unfortunately placed away from the large screen even after asking to sit somewhere we could watch it. However, we had a good view of a smaller TV, which worked out well enough for us.
They have a good selection of what seem to be local beers and your usual cocktails. I tried my hand at an Aperol spritz, which was of a nice size and well-mixed. The food was also good and served promptly after we ordered. They also seem to offer some American-type barbeque stuff. It's not the same as a London pub, but definitely worth a go for...
