-The hotel is old and I get it - it is harder to maintain cleanliness, nevertheless, the smell in the lobby can be treated with room perfume -The rooms were clean in general, but I found bunch of dust behind a bed-side table - where the electrical sockets were hidden (you should know almost all people need a socket near bed - invest in that). -Black mold in the corners of bathroom is whole different subject - please take care of that. -White towels are no longer white... -The front desk receptionist, who welcomed us was a nice pleasant lady. Which was the opposite for the one we had to deal with the next day - he was angry (yes, angry) that we had pets with us (2 tiny dogs). Read more2 nights in the Savoy - it's definitely got the right sound to it!!! Euros 133 per night for B&B in a spacious double room (4th floor). Friendly staff, clean and tidy, great breakfast, free WiFi and nearby underground parking (height restriction 1.90m) - which is essential as Evians is a nightmare for parking and limited to 4 hours generally - (discounted price via the Hotel @ Euros12 per day). There is a (quite basic) roof terrace with seating/loungers - great sun trap and views. Italian cuisine restaurant.||||No air conditioning in bedroom but room fan provided. There is a refurbishment program underway (1st floor etc) - but this did not impact on our stay.||||Great location on the lake front - great for the promenade: just down the road from shopping, browsing and eating as well as the Casino (which was a disappointment - "slots city"!).||||All in all - a "dose of charm"! Would return -...
