We chose this restaurant according to the reviews and went there to celebrate a birthday. But in the end we were extremely disappointed. We ordered carbonara, a plate of barbecue, salad with pineapple and a bottle of sparkling wine. Carbonara was not at all like on the photo, it was just pasta with sauce, sprinkled with some cheese on the edge of the plate and with thin, very small pieces of ham, which we were looking for a long time in the plate. Probably the only thing worse than this was the barbecue plate, it was old heated meat (most likely all of it was fried either yesterday or this morning - not fresh), very dry, tough and completely tasteless. Portion size was only 200 grams - at the price of 35 GEL, it can not be positioned as a meat plate (there is approximately 1 incomplete skewer of kebab on it, which can be easily bought in any other restaurant in Kutaisi within 15 GEL). And when ordering sparkling wine the waiter did not specify and did not offer us a choice, as a result he brought sour brut which we do not like. In general I do not recommend this place. At the same time the bill came out for 3 carbonara, 1 plate of barbecue, 1 bottle of champagne and 1 salad, 1 lemonade - 100$. And as it turned out the service was billed at 15%. I can't understand where in other reviews prices of 30-40 GEL for dinner come from. We will not go...
Read moreMy recent dining experience at Lilestan Restaurant in Kutaisi was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. The fusion of French and Georgian flavors was executed with a delicate touch that left my taste buds dancing with delight.
From the moment we walked in, the attentive waitress recommended dishes that turned out to be nothing short of mouth-watering. Each bite was a perfect blend of the rich, savory notes of French cuisine and the bold, authentic flavors of Georgia.
The freshness of the ingredients used in every dish was unmistakable, elevating the dining experience to a whole new level. It's evident that the chefs at Lilestan take great pride in sourcing high-quality, local produce.
Adding to the enchanting atmosphere was the delightful live music. The ambiance created by the talented musicians complemented the dining experience beautifully, turning a meal into a sensory journey.
I highly recommend Lilestan to anyone seeking a culinary adventure in Kutaisi. The combination of exquisite food, attentive service, and live music makes it a standout destination. A big thank you to the waitress for her thoughtful recommendations, and to the entire team at Lilestan for creating an...
Read moreCozy atmosphere, yet approaching the border of a "fine dining" experience. Classical music, fine cutlery and well presented, taste-refined dishes. We took two veal dishes (astaragon and pomegranate, both delicious and with a very tender meat) as well as a khachapuri. Everything tasted great, and our waitress for the evenening Nia added her touch to the experience, helping to choose the wine and making sure we didn't lack anything through the dinner. Definitely recommend the place, matter of fact we'll probably be going back tonight and add some pictures to the review! See you soon and thanks again for the nice dinner. (Additionnal good point is that altough slightly more expensive than other restaurants around, prices are very decent for such service and quality) Edit: here pictures from yesterday indeed, Kali (pomegranate sauced veal and cheesy purée, and surprise of the day was the garlic sauce from the chicken, absolument perfect. Add to that thr Pear Dessert and à local artisanal wine, and you have everything you nedd and more to e.joy a...
