Mulled wine also known as spiced wine, is a sweet and spicy alcoholic beverage typically made with red wine and a variety of spices like white pepper, cinnamon, black pepper etc and few citrus cuts. It's traditionally served hot and is most often enjoyed during winter, particularly the holiday season. Our Garden Cafe & Bar offers mulled wine and can be customized on your likings. The food that I ordered were chicken barbecue and Chicken Ojakhuri. Both looked and smelled yummy but the taste was quite different from the restaurants at the Downtown Kutaisi. It was pricy compared to the quality of food offered at the nearby restaurants. I recommend Museum Bar Restaurant at the downtown which offers delicious food at economic price and the...
Read moreI sat for the longest time being ignored in the adorable, AC room beside the garden seating that has paintings and lots of charm. Finally had to wave down a waiter and I got the aubergine with walnut which I was assured was not a big or small dish but medium. I also got the mushrooms with nut sauce. Ummmm the aubergine plate was tiny lol!! Literally four slices of aubergine rolled up. The mushrooms were in basically a hot soup, not what I was looking for on a hot day. Such a shame bc such a cute place! But toilets are SQUAT...
Read moreCaution at Restaurants Near Bagrati Cathedral While visiting the impressive Bagrati Cathedral in Kutaisi, the location of Our Garden Coffee is tempting. But be cautious, as the place is a classic tourist trap with overpriced items. Although the waiters often stood bored at the bar, we had to wait a very long time for our order. The food only arrived after an hour and a half. The service seemed unmotivated, and the excuse that "many guests" were present was not believable. For an authentic culinary experience, it's better to avoid places like this. A tip: Instead, walk down to the Kutaisi city center. There, you'll find a variety of charming restaurants and cafés that offer fairer prices and often...
