May 2022: I immensely enjoyed my visit to Benedict, I would recommend it as brunch place to anyone. Menu did not offer revolutionary options, but what we tried was very well executed. About the food: some dishes offer an unlimited bread basket, I suggest you take advantage of this as the bread was excellent the total croissant is really good, but in my opinion the Holland side was a bit overpowering, the salmon was great shakshuka was really tasty as well
We arrived on a Saturday around 11 and had to wait for about half an hour. Once seated we were served quickly and very well (shoutout to Katerina). They don’t take reservations.
July 2022: We went back on Sunday and had a different experience than last time. We ordered the shrimp and asparagus, which was very nice. But we also ordered the telaviv breakfast and honestly we can’t figure out the logic behind this dish, we had a few plates with different things that did not combine very well with each other, would definitely recommend staying away from that dish. Another person in the table also ordered it and got double the serving in cheese, so it was quite inconsistent. Pancakes were really amazing.
November 2022: longest wait till date, but we arrived a bit later than desired. We ordered 3 new dishes and they delivered as expected, and more. Biggest difference is that we noticed a 10/15% increment in the prices that are currently in my review. The service was extremely kind and attentive, the host was nothing but sweet while we waited. Nothing to add, still our favourite brunch place on Berlin (spent €72 on three dishes and three coffees).
September 2023: back once again, tried the new chicken sandwich, it was fine but I would not order again, there were bites full of barbecue and that is all you could taste. Sweet potato fries are still highly recommended. They took out the Italian breakfast, that, unfortunately, was one of the best dishes we had there. For 4 plates (chicken, burger and 2 English breakfast) plus 4 drinks...

I visited again for dinner and ordered iced cappuccino and morning glory, which is a homemade fresh smoothie. I proceeded to try their phillycheese steak sandwich, and I was impressed. It was huge, meat was cooked to perfection and it's definitely the best I tried in Berlin so far. I also ordered the croque madamme and it was as good as the ones I tried in Paris. I just want to say I'm very grateful for all the waiters and workers there who were very professional and made sure I had a great time and of course to George the restaurant Manager for taking the reviewed seriously, I wish all Berlin's restaurants managers can learn from him. Chapeau!
ORIGINAL: I have been always excited to try this 24/7 breakfast place. It looks very fancy from the outside and inside. I went on a weekend night and decided to try their pancakes. They have a good variety and come in 2 different sizes. We ordered the mini white chocolate berries and the big espresso pancakes. I got 2 mini espresso pancakes and not the large one, the waiter said they didn't have the big sized pancakes anymore, which I found quite strange, since the dough can be made in any size. In addition, I saw quite a few large pancakes leave the kitchen after, which made me sure they messed up my order and rather than owning up to their mistake, they gave me a strange excuse. The white chocolate pancake was really tasty, but the espresso one felt very dry, it was almost a struggle to eat it. When I told the waiter about it, he gave me some maple syrup which made it better, but I was not sure why it's not automatically served with it. All in all, I enjoyed the interior of the restaurant more than anything, and I will come back later to try their salty breakfast and hopefully then can change my review to 5 stars if...
Read moreA few days ago we went to Berlin for a two day trip and our breakfast spot choice was the Benedict. We called beforehand and a very nice person answered the phone. They communicate mostly in English which was also for me no problem but still a bit difficult regarding the fact that it is located in the capital of Germany. Also what I must say is, that although it was very full and there was a quite long queue the organisation was great. We actually could go in sooner than what they told us at first. The service was also friendly and the food was alright. But for example my boyfriend had the Argentinian steak which costed 24€. They haven’t asked how he would like to have his meat and it was very tenacious. For this price we would’ve expected something else tbh. I had the breakfast burger which was quite good. But regarding the fact that we where in a more pricey restaurant it was pure average service and food. So the whole atmosphere was disturbing. It felt like it’s more important that the food looks good than it actually tastes good. Also the other customers distracted me. A lot of people where only interested in taking photos of the good looking bad food and stood up for at least half an hour which was disturbing. Between this they looked over very judgy. After eating our food they wanted to quickly take away our dishes in a superficial nice way and wanted us to pay. I felt like a product which they wanted to work off. All in all the restaurant is alright but the atmosphere shouts: I’m fancy and I look...
