I discovered a charming café during my week-long work trip to Frankfurt. Located just a 10-minute walk from both the city center and financial district, basaglia became my workspace for two days thanks to their reliably fast WiFi connection. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, enhanced by an eclectic music selection ranging from 'Kruder & Dorfmeister' to House, Jazz, and Dub sounds. The staff's hospitality creates a wonderful vibe, and as a resident of north London, I was delighted to see an Arsenal FC sticker on the door – it made me feel even more at home! Their menu is impressive, featuring various coffee options, homemade cakes, and reasonably priced bistro dishes. As a UK citizen born in the home of the Black Pudding (i.e Bury!), I can confidently say their 'Himmel & Erde' (black pudding) was the best I've ever tasted (see photo!). The cheesecake and hazelnut tarte were exceptional as well (forgot to take pictures of my plate as I greedily demolished them both but check the display photo instead). What makes this café truly special is its social mission. The chef, who took time to explain their concept, is actually a social worker. The establishment employs people who have struggled with daily life stress, helping reintegrate them into the workforce. The company also supports homeless and handicapped people in Frankfurt, so every visit helps contribute to their social work. Overall, I had an excellent experience and highly recommend this café to any tourist visiting Frankfurt. I'll definitely return on my next visit to this...

Overall a great place to sit and chat with friends over a coffee or breakfast with very friendly and...
