Living Yard Acropolis — Hotel in Athens

Great Location and Excellent Service||This hotel was a great choice! It’s within walking distance to the city center, the Acropolis, restaurants, and other major attractions. Very clean and well-maintained, with a friendly and helpful staff.||I was especially pleased to be allowed an early check-in at no extra charge, which made a big difference after a long trip. Beautiful building and decorations. Friendly helpful staff. A/C turns off when you leave the room so could be a disadvantage during warm season.l as you would come back to a warm room but very energy efficient. Shower taps got veryyyy hot after a shower and shower tub surround leaked onto washroom floor. Bedding very comfy. Loved the expressing machine and fridge. Great location to bus from airport, or metro and plaka neighbourhood. Smokers smoke comes into the hotel room windows. They have cool keypad touch screen hotel room entry system, so no hotel...

I enjoyed staying at Living Yard. The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable, and the location was lovely with great cafés nearby like Fika, Ete, and Little Tree Books and Coffee. I actually preferred this area over Monastiraki, where we stayed when we returned to Athens. However, the room was right by the street and near the entrance, so it was a bit noisy, and the windows and doors were not well insulated.
