Coffee Joint — Restaurant in Athens

I don't usually post reviews of any restaurant, but when you find a hidden gem you have to let others know. The Coffee Joint makes you feel like you are family and not just a customer. My wife and I ate breakfast there Friday and we were amazed at having the best omelet and scrambled eggs we ever had,not just in Athens but anywhere we ever had the pleasure to experience a fantastic breakfast. Made from scratch, with fresh ingredients and as we were told later when we were raving about the most delicious breakfast ever, that it was made with love! Believe it. We were so enthralled about our dining experience that we said we would be back the next day. We returned and once again had a delicious breakfast. We even had some friends dine there after we told them about our Coffee Joint experience. They also went out of their way to help us with our visit to Athens and to even help us order a taxi later in the day to go on to our next hotel when our phone didn't work. When the taxi was confused about picking us up, Dimitri walked up a few blocks to help us connect with the taxi! Who does that? They treated us as family, and I can't praise or thank them all enough. We highly recommend everyone to visit this fantastic family restaurant and have the best food and dining experience in Athens....

Oh wow, incredible experience. And this is not a local cafe, more catered for tourist.

Slow and unprofessional Very rude waiter/waitress, you get a lecture if you remind them.

Ordered a juice, a cappuccino, a sandwich , a yogurt and an omelet.

This breakfast cafe gives the impression that it is fast and should serve lots of people, but it was super slow. Waited 30 min for a cappuccino. (Anywhere else would serve first the drink and then bring food). Not sure why a juice and a cappuccino took 40 min.

Then another 15 min came our omelet, the lady was super unprofessional in my opinion, she came with omelet, then came with bread, and then said she would bring salt and pepper. ( this is super inefficient and disturbing for the client, usually the waitress should try to bring everything at once to avoid steps). By the time she brought salt and pepper we already finished omelet, and waiting for our yogurt.

After another 5 min, we decided to leave because we ran out of time( we’ve been there for 45 min by now). And we asked for canceling the yogurt.

“Patience, patience, most treasure in life” yelled by the waiter, or owner not sure.

와파되고 저세상 친절하십니다 물공짜. The warmest staff ever in my life time ! Koreans recommended me to go here I passed many cafe expecting something special from this cafe. The staff were very welcoming like even my own nationality people would not welcome me like them🤣 "great hospitality."

Affordable price for budget travellers. Whatever you order it's not expensive and he gives you free bottle of water. You know outside of Asia they charge for water, first time someone gives me free.

I ordered greek yogurt, the honey was so yummy like wow this must be good quality honey? And he puts mountain of fruits....OMG I don't know if this cafe makes any incomes from customer when he give a lot like this?
