Ideal restaurant option for Coeliacs in Athens From my first contact with the staff at Arcadia I knew I was in capable hands and could relax and enjoy a Gluten Free meal. The wait staff are friendly and knowledgeable and experienced in organising meals for Coeliacs. The waiter guided me through the menu to ensure I had sufficient options. Questions were responded to professionally and a great choice of meals were available. I went with a Grilled Octopus starter which was cooked to perfection - and the fava base was delicious. For main course I went with the Lamb Souvlaki which was modified to guarantee Gluten Free. While Gluten Free bread was available, the waiter was fine for me to bring out my own Gluten Free pita bread to get the full Souvlaki experience. Very juicy and tasty and paired with an awesome plate of Gluten Free fries. A complimentary glass of Mastika was provided - the perfect ending for my sweet tooth. The wine list contained an extensive range of local and international options. I went local and was not disappointed. The perfect stop for a Coeliac seeking a stress-free, delicious and safe gluten-free meal with chips.

First off, is this a tourist trap, yes. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The gentleman who appeared to be the owner or manager apologized to us for having to have an employee stand at the road and flag down people to get them to come in. He said "Everyone else on the street does it, and we would not get any business if we did not sell ourselves to people walking by". I unfortunately have to totally agree, however, the other restaurants were far more pushy, where as Arcadia was very laid back and honest. We ordered the traditional Moussaka and spaghetti with shrimp. Both were awesome but the moussaka was absolutely wonderful. They also give bread to start and Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts for dessert which was a very light and delicious way to finish a heavy meal. Great atmosphere, great food, but pricey but worth it in my opinion. Restaurant and bathrooms were clean and well kept. The best parts were the food and the staff, which are 2 of the most important parts in any dining experience. We will definitely be returning to Arcadia! (Picture of moussaka was after we had split it to share)

Arcadia is a true gem nestled in the heart of Athens! My experience there was nothing short of delightful. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we stepped in.As a parent, dining out with a toddler can sometimes be challenging, but Arcadia made it a breeze. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for my 2-year-old.Now, let's talk about the food! The lamb souvlaki was a standout dish. It was perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. The lemon hummus was also a highlight, with a tangy zest that was incredibly refreshing. To top it all off, we indulged in the seafood platter for two. It was a seafood lover's dream! The variety of fresh seafood, from succulent shrimp to perfectly grilled fish, was simply outstanding.Overall, Arcadia exceeded all expectations. If you're looking for a fantastic dining experience in Athens, look no further than Arcadia. The delicious food, friendly staff, and welcoming atmosphere make it a must-visit restaurant!

One of the best meals of my life - they went above and beyond to accommodate my diet (gluten free). The dolmas were absolutely incredible - soft, perfectly seasoned, and light. The plate of 6 disappeared in about 2 minutes and we had to order another, which also disappeared immediately. The rice croquets were rich and savory. The gluten free pita was incredible and went so so so well with the tzatziki sauce and hummus. The mediterranean salad was insane. Simple, but flavorful and so so so fresh. I got the lamb chops for my main course, which was probably 20-24oz of meat. It was so much that I took the rest for leftovers for my plane ride. I think we ended up paying less than €40/person for the entire experience, which also blew my mind. It was easily the best meal on my trip, and one of the best meals of my life. I would easily make a trip JUST for this restaurant. No idea how it doesn’t have a Michelin star. Give this spot a try - you won’t be disappointed!
