Konstantina Studios — Hotel in Lefkada Municipality

You could not get a better location with the beach right down the road and heaps of shops and restaurants so close by. Such a good price for the area too you absolutely could not find a better deal, the owner of the hotel is also so kind and was really helpful with a taxi from the bus station. The room itself was quite large and the bed quite comfortable, cooking essentials etc were all there.

Unfortunately there were 2 quite annoying problems for us though, firstly the bathroom was simply a nightmare. Pipes constantly making weird loud noises, the sink wouldn’t plug properly so the water wouldn’t drain, and where do I even begin with the shower. No screen or anything so when you’d shower the entire bathroom floor/toilet/sink would get saturated . No hook to hold the shower head either you had to manually hold it whilst soaping or washing your hair and the hot water only worked for about 2 minutes before going completely cold.

Secondly, it may be specific to the room as we were in the front right by the road but the noise was very bad. Cars/motorcycles/voices could be heard so loudly as the room has such poor sound proofing. Even inside the actual building it was loud with other people coming and going or if someone in another room would shower or flush the toilet you could hear it. You couldn’t go to sleep before midnight or you’d be woken up immediately by the noise.

I feel bad even complaining as the host was so warm and inviting but there 2 things really effected our stay in this room and really need some attention. All in all it is still a great budget room and perfect location but I would be mindful of these things...

The room was small but clean enough, the bathroom definitely needs some serious refurbishing to make it a 21st century standard, but still it was nothing that would scare you off. Great place to stay with an awesome owner. The accomodation is for a budget but you'll get everything you need. The place is near the beach, but Milos is just across the hill and you will get there in 30 min of slow walking; Milos beach is fantastic. The parking is available at the main road but we didn't face problems in finding spots. The road to the beach is pedestrian but you can go with your car to pick/leave...
