The location of the hotel is perfect for us. Near the Marina (approx. 5-10 mins). The shopping areas are also nearby and walking distance, including to the market. There’s a wide range of restaurants and cafes near the hotel.|Let’s start with the reception area: Well lit, ‘Gatsby-esque’ style which was lovely. Receptionist was welcoming and helpful. The bar has seating areas in and outside which was also fab idea. There’s those sweet little touches of free biscuits and ‘detox’ water and they were beautiful.|The room we had was at the fourth floor, near the restaurant and luckily not opposite the elevator.|In the room: amenities were available (I.e. ironing board, iron, hair dryer, safe, coffee/tea facility). The usual small fridge, hangers, wardrobe, and smart TV. Fully AC in the room. The controls of lighting and blinds are automated by a touch pad/panel. There’s a lovely touch of an available balcony with seating and a table for two. Though the views were not really much to write home about, it was still a nice addition.||The service we had during our stay of 9 nights, was not smooth sailing though. For my husband and I, we try to help by not having the room cleaned or towels changed often, hence it’s every other day that we usually ask for the rooms to be cleaned and the towels we usually aim not to change it unless needed after a few days. To start with, when the room was cleaned a couple of times, the amenities were not replaced (I.e. milk for the coffees/teas) that we used the previous day. We asked reception over the phone, the instructions perhaps due to language barrier resulted in having more coffee pods instead of milk! A few days later when our room was cleaned, the towels were taken (which we did not want them to change) however, not replaced. I phoned reception for the towels at approx. 14:55H that day and an hour later, I went down to reception to remind them of what I have asked! Which was very frustrating as I did not receive any apologies. This is what I am not expecting service wise from a highly rated hotel.||The breakfast was beautiful. The views from the restaurant (4th floor) were OK and nice. The outstanding thing that I’ll always remember is the friendly and professional approach of the waitresses.|They...

A perfect stay in the heart of Chania! We had an amazing experience at The Chania Hotel – from the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed and well taken care of. The entire team was exceptionally friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Mira, who created a relaxed and warm atmosphere. She was quick to clear tables, gave us great cocktail recommendations, and even opened the rooftop above the pool so we could enjoy the sun with a delicious signature drink – simply wonderful! Nadia greeted us every morning with a smile and served us at breakfast with genuine care. Maria was also consistently kind and attentive – you could really feel the sincere interest from everyone. A special shoutout to Sofia, who welcomed us at the bar on our first day when our room wasn’t ready yet. She took the time to chat with us, gave us fantastic dinner recommendations (we tried three of them and loved each one!), and continued to recognize and check in with us throughout our stay – always friendly and genuinely interested. The breakfast was another highlight – rich and varied, with fresh fruits, cereals with a selection of nuts and dried fruits, cheeses, homemade bread, Cretan sweets, turkey slices, salami, grilled vegetables, ham, and even champagne. You could also order à la carte dishes like waffles, omelettes, Cretan-style omelettes, avocado toast, and more. Every morning felt like a treat! Our room was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed, a modern bathroom featuring a large shower, and a beautiful view of the mountains. The pool area in the restaurant, complete with jacuzzi function, was a lovely bonus that we thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel’s location is ideal – close to restaurants, sights, and the harbor, all within walking distance. Bottom line: If you're looking for a stylish hotel in Chania with outstanding service, warm-hearted staff, and great local tips, this is the...

The Chania Hotel Crete a Vignette|Collection hotel by IHG, is an ultra chic luxurious five star hotel. This was our first visit to Chania and our stay was perfect, what an absolute gem of a hotel. The location was very good indeed nestled right in the heart of the popular Square, ideally situated to explore the beautiful city center. ||From the moment we arrived experienced the very best in Cretan hospitality, all staff members were super friendly and so welcoming, Antonis was exceptionally professional. The service was great from start to finish, making our visit truly memorable. We were well taken care of and as a IHG Diamond Elite member and kindly surprised with some special welcome treats. ||Our King premium room was spacious, bright, elegantly decorated, extremely clean and well appointed. Good tea and coffee facilities, a decent sized mini-fridge and the air conditioning worked great cooling our room to a pleasant temperature. Our room boasted a small furnished balcony which was a sun-trap and very enjoyable to watch the bustling city whilst savouring a coffee or a wine. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows incredible and huge. Very nice bathroom, fantastic walk-in shower, gorgeous toiletries by the Greek brand Papoutsanis, high-end quality, Le Jardin Med range had the most enchanting scent.||Daily breakfast was excellent, had great options and we did enjoy the quality of their coffee, staff were friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was lovely couldn’t be more perfect. The restaurant was glamorous with wonderful picturesque mountainous views, so breathtaking. ||Always pleasing to visit an outstanding hotel which cares for its guests. Definitely look forward to returning. |Thank...

My son left in tears on the last day of 2023, as he was banned to the swimming pool at 11:20am, though the hotel directory writes the opening time, 11am - 7pm. The receptionist claimed it was“printed wrong” and the staff was allowed to make mistake once by herself. Oh, this is also endorsed by the hotel manager as well. All was really best, except the entitled mistakes the staff can make. Be aware! We’re heading back to Athens after all. Hotel is 3 stars, absolutely NOT 5 stars standards- from room conditions to cleanse. A family apartment warm hospitality stuffs around, unfortunately warm person and 65+ years stuffs/ smelling under the arm as well….can’t instead of professional 5 stars standers. It’s hardly a 5 star service, guys. The lighting system is very complex and it has to fully brighten up the whole room if you need the toilet at night. This isn’t elder/child friendly at all… Room service staff can be seniors, so they might have missed body hair in the bath tub… If you go to see a receptionist, she’d say NO to your request and can make a mistake without an apology! Is this a 5 star service, in your opinion? Last but not least, without any view from room. Restaurant cook may been trained from 5 stars, quit professional. For more please ask me.

This hotel was an extremely lucky find! Their rates are great, it's a new build and the design is very modern. the smart features in the room are a great touch and work flawlessly. the internet is great. one of the best things is that hotels always suck with room lighting. this place definetly does not. I loved the relax lighting options as well. my bed was also pretty awesome :) firmness varies from person to person but for me it was just right, and the sheet quality was awesome. I think above all the staff is helpful and kind and that really made me happy. As others have said the location is also very convenient. Special shout out to Sophia and Giogoros. Sophia was excellent with her restaurant service and her drinks. We had a lot of great conversation. Giogoros was superb with taking care of the room and the walk through as well as luggage. He has a very friendly presence and clearly takes his job serious in a good way.
