Don't let the name fool you, this place is the opposite of luxury. While things are pretty both the service and cleanliness was extremely lacking. A listing of issues we experienced in only a 3 day stay:|1. We arrived around 8pm. Checkin is only open until 6:30 pm. We determined that we would be arriving after hours by email before hand, so then they just left us the door code and had us lug our bags up 2 flights of stairs alone. Not terrible, but don't expect any help, restaurant recommendations, etc. ||2. We communicated via email before that we needed parking, and we specifically chose this place due to its "cooperation parking". They emailed us the information, stating that the parking was 24 hour and then would leave the card for us for Saturday night. Card was indeed left and we found the lot (~5 min drive away, so not close). Turns out the parking is closed Sat midnight until Monday morning, so we could not access our car on Sunday and our plans were ruined. They did have the hours in another part of a long email, but it was contradicted by the 24 hour statement and also "leaving the card for us for Saturday night". I assumed this meant it wasn't staffed Sunday but you could still use the card. Obviously this could have been avoided by meeting us to check in. ||3. Black mold in our shower (see pic 1). I told them and they said they didn't have any other rooms, offered no remidiation. ||4. Our jetted tub leaked on the floor (see pic 2). We told them and came to look at it and said it needed to be fixed and we shouldn't use it, then the next day pretended it was fine. We couldn't use it and had no discount/recourse.Additionally, it was not a hot tub as advertised. It was empty when we got it and even filling with the hottest water it took so long to fill it was cold by the time it was halfway filled. Also the room does not have a window or true patio-- it is surrounded by walls on all sides only with a small area without a ceiling. ||5. "Breakfast" was cold eggs and pastries served in cardboard boxes in our rooms (see pic 3), where we did not have a table to seat two, so had to eat on the bed. ||6. Checkout was 11 am. I was lugging bags down the stairs to the street and returned to make a second trip to find I was automatically locked out of my room at 10:45 am-- there explanation was it is an automatic setting in the system, even though they agreed that checkout is 11 am. ||We stayed in 4 other hotels in Greece and were generally happy with them. We received much better service and breakfast everywhere else. While this place looks pretty (and did basically look like the photos except for the mold), it was definitely not worth the other issues. All of these issues were raised with management multiple times during our stay, to which they...
Read moreWe were really happy with the hotel and the staff were extremely helpful. Located right on the 1866 Square, just opposite the old town, a great location, close to shops restaurants and coffee shops. There's a great bakery directly beneath the property and coffee shops across the square and Funky's is across the road.||The room was lovely, we were in Rose Quartz, clean and spacious, air conditioning was powerful and quiet. Bathroom and separate shower were very good, probably the best shower I've had in a hotel! Lovely complimentary Korres toiletries are supplied.||The best part of the stay were the staff on the front desk, Konstantina was amazing, always had answers to our questions whether they were about which beach to go to, what travel companies to use, good restaurants or coffee places. ||Finally I should note that the street outside is noisy till the early hours. The hotel is obviously not at fault for this and the windows and doors do a great job of insulating the sound. I'm a light sleeper and slept very well all week. Talking about sleeping, the beds, pillows and sheets were top class. Very comfortable and easy to get to sleep in. The sofa bed was comfortable according to my older teenager.||Our thanks to the Mirabile, I would absolutely recommend you stay here. Its a lovely hotel, in a great position and the staff...
Read moreOur stay at Mirabile Luxury Suites was fantastic. The service was exceptionally good, with warm, professional and genuinely attentive staff from start to finish. The rooms are compact but absolutely perfect for a city getaway: modern, stylish and thoughtfully designed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the overall interior felt truly luxurious.
We chose a room that included a private hot tub, though that wasn’t our main reason for booking. In practice, the tub felt a bit cramped and didn’t add much value to the stay. If you're specifically looking for a proper spa-like hot tub experience, this might not be the right fit. That said, the room itself easily stands on its own merits and we would gladly book again even without the tub.
A small heads-up: access is not fully step-free, so if you have heavy luggage, be prepared for some stairs. Also, due to local parking habits, cars need to be moved from the garage to the street on Sundays. This is not the hotel’s fault but something to keep in mind. Parking spots can be tough to find nearby.
Overall, Mirabile is a true gem for anyone looking for a high-end and comfortable stay in the heart of the city. Highly...
