We stumbled across this little gem while shopping on the main street and were taken aback by the tantalizing aromas of the grill.
We stayed in Chania for 5 days and kept coming back to this little gem every day. The food was delicious, authentically Greek, very reasonably priced and great value for money.
The service was wonderful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The fresh produce is locally sourced, the hand cut potato chips with local oregano were the best I've ever tasted and the kebap kalamakia were home made. The kalamakia are cooked fresh right before your eyes and served with crusty grilled bread drizzled with olive oil and oregano.
Coming from a Greek background myself I am quite particular when it comes to Greek food. This is authentic and delicious Greek food. I take my hat off to the owner for keeping his food true to the Greek cuisine and to the local heritage.
Seriously check this place out when you are in Chania - I guarantee you will keep coming...
Read moreHad a great meal here sitting outside speaking to the locals who also come here. Even got a couple of beers bought for me and my partner by a local customer out of pure kindness for my attempts to speak Greek terribly 😁. I tried the chicken pork haloumi sausage and kebab with chips bread tzatziki and Greek salad. It was excellent. It was very well priced and even better when I found out that the same customer who had bought me a couple of beers had also paid for the ones we had just drank too!! What can I say other than fantastic place the member of staff was excellent too (please pass my thanks on again to your friend who bought me the beers)

There are quite a lot of tables inside the premises and therefore there were no problems with food inside the establishment. The usual gyros (pita) is not on the menu, but there is a sandwich that tastes a little different from the traditional Greek dish. Waiting for the order took about 20 minutes.
Overall, a good place for a small...
