Hotel Anna was sub par. A few things to note to help you decide if you want to stay here: we had been on a 2 hour ferry from Santorini which was stuffy and hot. Then had to take one bus from the port to centre wait thirty minutes to catch another bus to get close to Hotel Anna. All of this was when it was 28degrees very hot so when we entered the room, it was like a sauna. A nice touch many hotels do is when they see people are scheduled to come, they have the air conditioning running for a little bit beforehand so the room is a good first impression. Then I realized that they wouldn't be able to do the early air conditioning suggestion anyways because the rooms are set up on a stupid system where you have to have the one and only magnet key inside the room And all of the windows and doors have to be closed in order for the Air conditioning to work. Dumb if you leave for the day to go to the beach and come back only to a sauna of a room. Took us about ten minutes to figure out how the stupid front door opened. It has a feature to have it act like a window to only have it open for a crack. Overall the most useless door I've ever seen. Safe box is old school key that looks like it's from 1800's dungeon. A digital code one would be better to not have to lug around the key all day. Same with the actual room was a physical key instead of a swipe key pass. Tv channels are dull. Bed and pillows were uncomfortably hard The public part of the beach is about 20ft wide space with 100 people crowded around it. Wishing that the hotel had its own pool area. Long steep ramp we had to climb each time to get to and from our room which was annoying. We came here for less than a week for our honeymoon, imagine, and left overall disappointed. After hearing about our friends hotel experiences in other neighbouring beach areas, save yourself the headache and spend the extra 200-300$ more to get a better...

Read moreI had booked a stay here at Hotel Anna in mid-June and was pleased with the hotel and it’s services from the moment I arrived. The reception staff were extremely friendly, informative and helpful. To get to the rooms there is an uphill driveway and some stairs. The bell boy (was handsome and fit) carried our luggage to our rooms when we checked in and also helped us at checkout. The location was perfect - the rooms have a lovely view of the sunset and overlook the water. The beach is also just 20 seconds away and accomodate lovely beach side restaurants/bars which we ate at every night. I could not recommended Hotel...
