If I could leave 0 stars for this hotel I would. BEWARE OF SCAM!!!!!! This hotel is a total scam. After reading through some other reviews here, I see we had the same issue as some other guests so please do not be fooled by the good reviews and take these bad reviews seriously. To start, when we booked it said we would not be charged until 2 weeks prior to our arrival. About two months after booking the hotel charged the full amount of our stay to our card which was still quite a distance out from our stay. Getting in contact with this hotel was an absolute nightmare. Phone line either doesn’t work or no one answers, and trying to get someone to answer your email - GOOD LUCK! We ultimately had to dispute the charge with our bank and get a new card. I reached out to Branco to update the card on file in April 2024 when our trip was set for June 2024 and they had no problem answering my email to update the card but couldn’t be bothered to reply previously with the fraudulent activity. What do you know, it happens again and they charge the full amount two months before we are due to check in. And again, NO REPLY. This should’ve been a huge red flag. Yet, we still were excited for our reservation as this was for our honeymoon and we expressed that to Branco that this was a special trip for us. Fast forward we are in Santorini for the first leg of our trip and LESS THAN 48 HOURS before we are due to check in at Branco Mykonos I recieve an email stating our reservation has been canceled due to a plumbing issue in our room only and they can no longer accommodate us anywhere. Now I am calling the hotel consistently until someone answers (mind you, on my honeymoon) and when someone does I am told there is a plumbing issue in that room only but the rest of the hotel is fine but, they cannot book us in another room because they are “fully booked” yet online it said there were rooms available. I expressed how totally upset and frustrated we were and this is now less than 48 hours until check in, on our honeymoon, and we’re already in Greece - absolutely unacceptable. I ask to speak to a manger, they tell me there’s none on site that day. I’m told a manager will call me back, they never did. I have called and emailed for 7 days straight and have been blatantly IGNORED! DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL, I REPEAT - DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. THEY CAUSED US A NIGHTMARE AND COULDN’T CARE LESS. Worst experience and customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Please save yourself the frustration and disappointment and stay somewhere else. Luckily the O by Myconian was able to accommodate us and I cannot say enough amazing things about that resort. Read more‼️ Beware of scams!!!! What a nightmare this hotel! I booked it via Booking and first of all they charged me 2 times my card. Day of the booking one time and then 2 days later again!! Got in contact with them and they promised me they will refund the extra money in a few days. This happened in April. Weeks later trying to contact them again via email, instagram, booking, calling. No answer and no money. After 2 months i cancelled on booking my reservation because i did not trusted them anymore. Again, no money back. Called them again, finally somebody answered me and a had to call a few times back because the manager was not there, then was on vacation, was on a break, financial department was closed, I had to send an email and they promised they will send me an answer asap, well it never came!…. All the time there was an excuse and nobody could help me. Finally got in touch with Booking and i had, like 10 times, to contact them, because Branco did not responded to them either! Now we are in July (4 months later) and i finally got my money back, 2 times what Branco charged me, from Booking!!! Not from Branco, Because they still did not reacted or sent the refund back! That is unbelievable for such a big hotel to do such things, to charge you 2 times and then to ghost you not to be able to get in contact with somebody. People be aware if you book it! Read moreWe stayed here on our visit to Mykonos Island for three-nights. The staff was incredible in every way from the moment we walked in and left. The beach staff should also get a huge shoutout due to how accommodating, talented, and funny they were! If we could be friends with the beach staff we would! :) We cannot say enough about the people working the concierge and restaurant, they were there for every need at all moments.
The one thing to note and the rrason for the 4-star review is that there’s trance/house music playing loudly from the pool/beach that you can hear in the rooms from midday to late at night — if this is your scene, go for it! We were just expecting something more quiet and relaxing so this was a miss on our part when booking (they brought us ear plugs immediately which was so nice!!), hotel’s gym is minimal and outdoors (so depending on the time of day and what you prioritize, it gets quite hot/humid), the double sea-view room we had was extremely small — better for one person vs a couple. Only one person in the bathroom at once, if you opened the door from outside the bathroom, you’d hit someone at the sink/toilet. Cleaning service could have been better, there were areas missed. Lastly, the restaurant had incredible service but the food was fine for the price point.
