IL VENTO rooms & apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Mykonos

First of all, I feel ashamed we never left a review as we planned. However, it has made such an impact in our holiday that here I am, 1 year later writing a review. We are from NZ and went to Europe on our 1st anniversary in June last year. Can't save words to describe the service we had at IL Vento. Maria, the responsible for dealing with all guests - there from early to almost 9PM most days -and also responsible for arranging anything you would need during your time in Mykonos. She was lovely the whole time. We have given a ETA but as turned out transport in Mykonos was quite difficult, we arrived later than expected. Maria contacted us to check if we needed a pick-up and to check if we were okay. Upon arrival, there she was waiting and made sure to seat down with us and explain all we needed to know even though we were the last guests she was expecting that night to then go home. Absolutely lovely and gave as such an amazing welcome and was always reachable (we could just message her on WhatsApp) Maria, thank you for all your amazing service provided during our stay (we truly hope you are still working there and that you are able to see this). Chris -Owner's son (if I'm correct on the name) also great service provided. Always smiling, always available for a chat and for making sure we had a great time even if we were the only ones by the pool. Thank you so much for all your hospitality guys, it has been incredible and we will be delighted if we can stay there again when hopefully visiting Mykonos someday. Great and beautiful place! Recommend getting a Quad bike (which they can help arranging at the reception) and going around the island. Walk to city would take you - if not wrong - about 30mins. We did the walk about 2 times but trust me, can be quite hot. Quad bike was for sure the best thing we did. Great to enjoy the whole island and experience more. Don't hire a car! Also, bus transport didn't seem to be easy so can't say it would be an option. IL Vento didn't have much for Breakfast/Dinner option but honestly, you don't even need that since you will want to be in the city as Mykonos is stunning. The place is paradise. We stayed there to celebrate my birthday with my girlfriend and luckily I made the specific choice of accommodation. Everything was perfect. this place exceeded our expectations. The view from the crystal clear pool was magnificent. The room was fantastic, very special. It had beautiful décor reminiscent of a tropical vacation. The terrace was also beautiful and the jacuzzi was clean. The staff were impeccable, very professional and did everything to make our stay there a wonderful unforgettable experience. The people who manage it welcomed us very warmly, they are very hospitable and made us feel very comfortable from the first moment we got there. It's worth the money and I'm glad we chose to spend our time in Mykonos in this heavenly place.

We had an amazing stay at Il Vento Premium Hotel in Mykonos! Everything from the service to the design of the rooms was exceptional. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive - always ready to help with a smile, whether it was booking a taxi, giving recommendations, or just making sure we were comfortable.

The room was modern, spotless, and beautifully designed with those signature Cycladic touches. We especially loved the private outdoor balcony and how quiet the whole property felt.

Location-wise, it’s ideal: close enough to the action in Mykonos Town but still tucked away in a calm area. And the views? Absolutely stunning.

We would definitely come back. Il Vento exceeded our expectations...
