Obati Italian restaurant and pizzeria — Restaurant in Municipality of Mykonos

I made a reservation in advance, but at no point was I informed that there would be loud music due to an event. When we arrived, the music was blaring so loudly that it was impossible to have a conversation or enjoy what was supposed to be a nice dinner.

To add to the frustration, we were told there was no fish available, which was one of the main reasons we chose this restaurant. While they offer a variety of dishes like pizza and meat, the lack of key options and the overwhelming noise made the experience unbearable. To make matters worse, the waiter informed us that we needed to leave by 10:30 PM for the event, making us feel rushed and unwelcome.

Given the noise, limited menu options, and the pressure to vacate the table, we decided to leave without dining. This left us feeling disoriented and scrambling to find another place to eat, which was stressful since it was already late. The whole experience was a huge disappointment, and we won't...

Obati is very easy to access, especially by car. If you do drive there are plenty of parking spots. My wife and I walked and found it quite a pleasant 15 minute stroll during the evening.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is great - the staff were helpful without being overbearing and the food was decent. Nothing absolutely outstanding with the food, but it wasn't awful either so I have nothing negative to say.

The bathrooms in this restaurant deserve special mention as they were spotless and smelled better than any public bathroom I've been to in my home country of Australia. So kudos to the management and especially the cleaners!

Obati is absolutely worth a visit for...

We had the best fresh fish grilled to perfection! It wasn't cheap but it was the best meal I have had in Greece. I have been here for 1 month. (Working) I do not always get ashore so this was my first lunch ashore for a while! Vlasis made us so welcome and Thalos the chef did us proud. My daughter had Spaghetti Ali olio and we had: Fried prawns Octopus with fave beans Grilled fish with vegetables A Greek dry white wine €42 picture to follow (Ammmmmaaaazzing) Overall could not be happier. It was quite which I like but maybe lacked atmosphere. This place should be full!!!!!!
