Wow. Unbelievable. Our stay was amazing, originally we had booked Jewel for 1 night and ended up leaving our other hotel and coming back to stay with Bobby at Jewel for another 4 nights.||There are markets, restaurants, beaches, all within a 5-10 minute walk. You can take a boat taxi to visit multiple different beaches around the area as well for 10€ round trip. There is also a bus station there as well if you would like to explore the rest of the island. Buses and water taxi stop running at 6pm.||Everything from the host, apartment, bed, location, was beyond what I could ask for to make my stay in Mykonos magical. My booking for two nights, nine people has not been refunded even though the hotel will be SHUT DURING OUR STAY. We were only offered a one year voucher, which will be unusable. Our only contact with Bobby has been a copy and pasted email, and zero personal service. Bobby and Hotels.com have ignored our questions about the legality of not refunding us through our original form of payment even though we did not cancel our booking, it should be cancelled on the basis of the Greek government shutting all seasonal hotels until June 15th. Nice enough apartment in a central location.
A note of caution: the apartments are accessible only by a large hill so may not be suitable for families or elderly.
Owner is very thorough and possibly over the top explaining the 'rules' on your arrival. For example, guests to turn off power switches at the main box, when not in use.
