Superb service from an amazing team. Hotel is brilliant, breakfast or dinner food was faultless. From check in to check out nothing was too much trouble for the team here. Catering, housekeeping, front of house, poolside, maintenance all friendly and helpful.
As this trip was a first holiday for me and my partner, who is a Nurse! So she has been well over due a break. Tie that in with a big birthday to celebrate When we booked I emailed ahead to the team for a few little requests (Birthday Celebration whilst away) and recommendations they replied attentively and hastily. (Great considering how busy they are in High Season)
Upon arrival which was late we was very tired but welcomed so warmly by Theodora we forgot how tired we where. She shown us to our room made us feel at home right away.
I had a couple of small issues with our room, which after a discussion Theodora noted all and informed me that her colleague will take care of it in her absence on the AM shift she relayed onto Emily who listened clearly to Theo.
Upon meeting Emily the same positive welcoming energy was given she really helped and asked “is there anything else I can do for you?” This phrase became such a common thing to hear but it’s so nice to know staff want you to want for nothing. . She also got us into Budha Bar the one place my darling partner set her heart on going yet to no prevail for reservations are so exclusive in high season - So this scored big points for me as I naturally took credit for making booking 😂 Emily arranged our ATVs and transfers daily effortlessly she is a little diamond. Super Stellios the man at the front desk! What a guy - you can tell he really really cares about his role. He has great hair, great smile, great tattoos and is an awesome human being. Nothing was to much trouble - Stellios was able to make the provisions to rectify my issue which I raised with the ladies. Which he did and boy did he over exceed expectation for us and it made our first trip that more special, memorable and we could switch off thanks to him. He kept me informed with daily updates, agenda set with me, checked in with our stay to offer more help if he could even though it wasn’t necessary. Baring in mind he took care of hundreds of guests with the highest levels of professionalism, courtesy and most importantly passion. The guys a beautiful person with a great story and it was a privilege to spend our first holiday under his watchful eye. His past retail customer experience comes through so well and his hospitality skills are second to none. I mean that I’ve stayed at world class hotels and the staff are the difference. He is the man.

George or Mr Cool by the pool! - always looking sharp. Always ready and there just when you need, happy chappy in the morning which is amazing to see considering this guys works two jobs back to back on the Island. I respect his hustle. His second job is at one of the most exclusive bar/restaurants on the island. Best hotel + best sunset bar says a lot right? - on our ATV adventure I asked for hot spots he recommend beaches of his own preference. Which was truly stunning and worth the ride - Efharisto adelfós
Bed and breakfast wouldn’t be complete with out the glorious smile from Kristina and a warm Kalemera 🤭 breakfast service would run smoothly everyday. Any special requests could be made from the kitchen without delay. Within a day she memorised our preferred beverages to start each day and each evening which was a very nice touch. Appreciate you and your efforts - Efharisto
Finally Paff - The house cat 🐈⬛ what a cutie - I don’t like cats usually but this lil lady be so chilled you can’t not help but get into a chilled vibe. Snoozing daily living her best life.
Embrace the island life style and make sure it is at My Mykonos...
Read moreI read several reviews before booking this hotel and decided that although there were an odd couple of bad reviews, that it looked lovely in the photos, so decided to book. We stayed here for 7 nights in mid-June. We had a surrounding view room which was just below the steps at reception. The room was lovely, with a nice comfortable bed, and had a nice selection of complimentary toiletries. The room was cleaned each day, and we thought the maids went above and beyond helping us keep the room tidy. Bottled water was also supplied in the fridge each time the room was cleaned. We had a small terrace area which was nice and cool to sit at during the early evening before going out for food and drinks. There was a nice selection of food at breakfast including cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, breads, pastries, cold meat and cheese, and a hot buffet. We did think that the food and drink at the hotel was quite expensive, although did order at the poolside on a few occasions. We noticed food orders coming out, and the portion sizes were huge. We ended up sharing a club sandwich and fries one day, and a pizza the following. As the portion sizes were so good and enough for a lunchtime snack, sharing made it less expensive. The staff are really accommodating and helpful across the hotel. When we arrived, we had a welcome drink, and the receptionist sat with us and gave us some nice hints and tips about the island. The pool is lovely, and we did not have an issue getting a lounger during our 7 days. As soon as the staff see you arrive at the pool, they bring fresh towels to your lounger.|We had a transfer from the airport to the hotel which took no more than 10-15 minutes. The supermarket is 100 meters down the road and was perfect for drink and snack supplies for the room. Myknonos town was a 10–15-minute walk away, although this was down a series of steep hills and paths. As we are a couple of men in our mid-40s, this was not a problem for us. I would say that for anyone with mobility issues, unsteady on your feet, or wearing heels/stilettoes this may be a bit of a problem. Walking back up the hill late afternoon was hard going in the heat. We were told by reception that there are 38 taxis on the island so this may be an option to get down to the town. Although we did not use it, I did research the bus service, which did look good if you wanted to go to any of the beaches. Mykonos town is set around a lovely port and is full of winding streets between the whitewashed buildings. Lots of restaurants of bars around the town, so plenty to choose from. I would visit Mykonos again and would stay...
Read morePossibly the worst holiday experience in 40 years. A tent pitched in a field would have offered equal facilities. We awoke after the first night of stay very hot and found that the aircon had stopped working, we then found around 8am - No lighting No power No water No flushing toilet No Aircon No WIFI This was immediately reported and we were told that they were working on it and it was a problem in the whole area. Not true other rooms had facilities , so did reception and the buildings close by bars etc. Ok we thought, we were going into town and hoped they would fix it by the time we came back. We returned around 3pm after the walk up cardiac hill, no pavements side of road like a building site and horrendous traffic hoping to freshen up and go out for the evening. Upon our return still no facilities, reported to reception again ,not a great response "we are still working on a fix". We proceeded to the supermarket to buy some bottled water in order to wash and some toilet paper as they had left none. We went out for the evening around 8pm and returned at 11pm. Still no facilities the room was pitch black. Reported again and was told " it should be fixed soon". I said I would wait here at reception until it was fixed. A while later while still at reception we were told that they could move us to another room. I asked if they had any torches to give us some form of lighting in order to pack all our belongings. "Cant you use the light on your mobile phone "was the response. I informed that my phone was dead as we had not had any power in the room. I proceeded to take some battery lights from around the pool in order to see to pack. We started packing and the lights came on, great we thought its fixed and decided not to move room (it was after midnight and we we worn out by the whole experience) 20 minutes later the power went off again and was off all night. We left the next day never to return. This was the most expensive tent we have ever stayed in and we were offered nothing, they did not seem to even care. I am expecting a cut and paste three line apology in response to this post if...
