This small and quaint orthodox church located at the seaside of the old port of Mykonos was built in 1700 honouring to Saint Nicholas, the protector of sailors and fishermen.
My wife and I took a look inside this church that belongs to the post-Byzantine era, being the main decoration in place, some few icons of the Virgin Mary and the Apostles, also, you can find some candles ready to be lite by you for an small fee.
The exterior of the chapel seems to mimetice with the Cycladic traditional architecture, being a picturesque whitewashed building with a blue dome. In addition, there are some benches at the outside for the elderly who visit the place and wish to rest for a little before leaving.
