La Veranda of Mykonos Traditional Guesthouse — Hotel in Municipality of Mykonos

I recently had the pleasure of staying at La Veranda of Mykonos, and I can honestly say I love it a lot! This hotel has absolutely stolen my heart. The view from both the hotel and my room was nothing short of breathtaking—without a doubt one of the best views in Mykonos.

One of the standout features of La Veranda is its prime location. Just a 5-minute walk to the old town of Mykonos, the hotel offers the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. Unlike staying right in the heart of the bustling old town, here you can relish the peaceful surroundings without the constant flow of tourists passing by. This makes for a much more relaxing experience.

The hotel grounds are equally impressive, with beautiful scenery all around. The pool area is inviting and perfect for unwinding, and there are plenty of cozy spots to chill outside your room.

Another highlight of my stay was the proximity to the famous 180 Bar, just a 4-minute walk away.

The proprietors of La Veranda of Mykonos are simply adorable and sweet. Their hospitality made my experience even more special.

Awesome stay at La Veranda! This was my second trip to Mykonos - having stayed in a private villa near super paradise the first time around. I much preferred my stay at La Veranda - clean and comfortable room, beautiful property overall including a stunning sunrise that others pay to enjoy next door at 180 sunset bar and really hospitable owners that treat you super well throughout. They arranged transport for us from the port (ferry from Santorini) and it was a quick trip. Yes there's a hill/road to climb to get to the hotel but that's why the view is worth it! Also, most other hotels are on similar hills and it was fine via ATV as well (there's parking easily).

Marina and Andreas run this lovely place up above the Harbour with fantastic views of the town and sunset. They have a nice sized pool and good quality sunbeds. My Wife and I stayed here 5 years ago and thought it was time to call back for 3 nights again. You can have breakfast if you want and it is well worth doing so, a good choice on offer. They have chilled drinks in a large fridge you can purchase at a good price e.g local karafe of wine very good. Andreas picked us up from the airport and dropped us off at the port. Good transfer.
