We were not happy with our stay at this hotel. There were toddlers screaming at breakfast every morning. I asked if they had spa services and was told yes and scheduled a brow & lip wax only to find out when walked in to my appointment that the girl does NOT wax. She hand tweezes the eye brows and threads the lip. When I asked why she doesn't thread both, she said that she doesn't trust herself. The point is I would not have booked this service as I specifically asked for waxing. Why did they tell me they offered something that they don't? Additionally we asked for a late checkout by an hour and an half our last day (we didn't check in until 11pm when arrived) and we kept getting told to ask at 6am the morning of departure? We were trying to plan our activities and wanted to partake in the Mykonos nightlife. Isn't that what they're known for? Asking at 6am defeats the purpose. We did not go out that night, still asked at 6am for late departure as we had a late ferry (that they're receptionist recommended that I book). They declined the late checkout which literally left us sitting in their lobby for several hours. The pool was overpacked with no seating, the town is too far to bus for the two hours that we had to wait for our ferry and they do not have beach access, so we would have had to pay to sit at the beach for an hour and a half. All in all, that pretty much sucked and we won't be back and I don't recommend this place to anyone else either. For the price we paid, there's lots of other options on that island. For what it's worth, I did a cooking class in a woman's home in Mykonos who lives there. She told me that most of the hotels DO offer late checkout and that that they cater to those who want to spend more money at businesses on the island as tourism is their main...

Lovely boutique hotel near Platys Gialos beach. Exceptionally well maintained and clean. Helpful and friendly staff. Bright and spacious rooms, ours had a lovely terrace. Breakfast was of a high standard. ||Pool area is stylish and relaxing, and the bar serves drinks and food throughout the day. The traditional Greek dishes are excellent.||Some info you might find useful: the hotel is not close to Mykonos Town (Hora), and in my opinion it is not walkable. Reception will arrange a car for you, and it will cost between 20-25 euros. We did this during our stay and it was a very comfortable way to travel into town. Alternatively you can walk down towards the beach (5 mins) where there is a bus. This costs a couple of euros, but you might be waiting a while. ||You can get taxis back from the old port end of the town at the busy car rental place. You can’t miss it. These will generally cost 15-20 euros.||There are restaurants nearby which are within walking distance, including Nikos Gallup Taverna (reserve in advance if you want a good table) and some nice restaurants by the beach. We dined at Anios one evening during our stay and it was excellent.||As for the beach itself - it is very busy, but there are lots of options for beds. Prepare to pay quite a bit for them though. The beds are generally owned by the bars behind them, and some will ask for a flat rate (in the region of €50 for two beds and a parasol) whereas others will expect you to spend a certain amount on drinks. Don’t just go and grab a bed and start sunbathing! Check with the bar staff so you know what you are signing up to first!||Or speak to the staff at the hotel. They are fab and very helpful and will make sure you are...

Pelican Bay is a beautiful spot… and I was enjoying my stay. I had an unfortunate incident with an employee - asked to speak with the Manager Vaggulus about it. I was respectfully explaining the situation and what happened as to be rudely interrupted and told to stop talking - 90 seconds in - and let him speak. Read that again . He became very defensive & aggressive and pointing his finger in my face, raising his voice , and coming towards me which I cautioned him to stop. He proceeded to twist my words in his response , say I was attacking the entire staff- which I clearly was not- it’s just one individual we were talking about. Somehow the complaint turned into something very different … He said the guy has worked for him for 7 years , and who did I think he was going to believe? This was worse than the original complaint! I had enough of this and ended the conversation right then and there . Before this happened I actually was thinking of planning a girls trip next year celebrating our milestone birthdays here. The rules of customer service , proper etiquette , and the “standards” of Hotel Management clearly vary/ lack from country to country. Needless to say I will not be returning and this man needs additional training courses. The people who do breakfast service are outstanding! The housekeepers do a nice job as well. They only make the bed with 1 sheet which is strange to me- just ask for...

I recently stayed at Pelican Bay Hotel in Mykonos, and honestly, it was just what I needed. The hotel has a super relaxed vibe—stylish without trying too hard, and you can tell they’ve paid attention to the details. The rooms are spacious, clean, and bright, with that classic Cycladic aesthetic—whitewashed walls, soft blue accents, and big windows that let in tons of natural light. Location-wise, it’s tucked away in Platis Gialos, just a short walk from the beach. Perfect if you want to be close to the action without being in the middle of the chaos. Plus, there’s a bus stop nearby that takes you straight into Mykonos Town if you want to explore or hit the nightlife. The pool area is a real highlight—quiet, super clean, and ideal for lazy afternoons with a cocktail. The breakfast spread was also solid: fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, and good coffee (which I’m picky about!). The staff were friendly and helpful without being overly formal, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. Overall, Pelican Bay feels like a little oasis—classy, comfortable, and easygoing. Would totally stay again!

Only spent two nights and were happy to be welcomed here. Felt a little Fantasy Island like on arrival with Ionnia greeting us from the top of the staircase and providing a welcome drink during check in. Our room was clean, large and comfortable. Bathroom was good , not recently updated (having tub with shower and curtain) but clean and all functional. Our room had a lovely balcony with views down to the ocean . Pleasant to sit at our own table to relax. Pool was lovely , refreshingly sun heated, clean and not busy. We ordered drinks poolside. My ownly issue is personal…people who smoke , although public space - the restaurant patio is nearby and I’m unfortunately highly sensitive. Staff were friendly, and gave lovely recommendations for dinners. Breakfast was well maintained- providing many delicious choices. Would recommend and will return.

Very nice hotel indeed! It is a short walk (less than 5 minutes) from the road which is served by the public transit bus which takes you to Mykonos village (10 to 20 minute ride depending on traffic). One way bus fare is €1.80; pay the driver or buy tickets in advance at the mini market nearby. You are also just a 5 minute walk from the beach and several restaurants. There are actually three mini markets: one just before the bus stop, another just before the beach, and one more at the beach along with the restaurants. The hotel itself is a modern design and really a beautiful place. Nice pool just adjacent to the restaurant. Just love this place. Staying for a total of three nights. Greeks are friendly, lovely people.
