🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A Perfect Mykonos Escape – Beyond Expectations! My stay at The George Hotel in Mykonos was absolutely unforgettable — truly a slice of paradise! From the moment I arrived, I was swept into the dreamlike atmosphere that blends classic Cycladic charm with modern comfort and stunning luxury. The views from the hotel are absolutely breathtaking — endless blue skies meeting the Aegean Sea, with iconic whitewashed buildings dotting the horizon. Whether relaxing on the private balcony or soaking in the sunshine on the patio, every moment felt like it belonged on a postcard. And the pools? Just stunning. Crystal-clear, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by peaceful vibes that made it easy to completely unwind. The room came equipped with a bidet which if you know you know. It has a sister hotel just 2 mins away where we could go lounge on their beach chairs. And the best part which is a shoutout to the city of Mykonos. They have a wonderful shuttle running through the island for only 2 euro per person one way!! I want to give a special shoutout to the sweetest Bellhop, Hassan, who welcomed me with such warmth and kindness — it truly felt like I was being welcomed into his own home. He instantly made me feel comfortable and cared for, and that first impression stayed with me throughout my stay. A big thank you also to George, the breakfast bartender, who went out of his way to make my mornings extra special. When I mentioned how much I love European coffee but find it a little too strong for my Canadian tastebuds, he didn’t just smile politely — he actually took time to think it through and made me the perfect iced latte. It was honestly one of the best I’ve had, and his thoughtful approach really meant a lot. From the beautiful design and peaceful atmosphere to the personal touches from the staff, The George Hotel is an absolute gem. I’m already dreaming of coming back. 🩵🇬🇷

Very nice, modern hotel in an attractive location, with a wonderful view of the sea. Both the rooms, the pool area and the buffet area are very clean and good-looking, you feel very comfortable during your stay! The very nice staff also contributes to this. The hotel was very well prepared for Corona, and the staff implemented it very well. But it would be better if the guests also had to wear their masks when queuing at the breakfast buffet. Special praise goes out again to the two girls at the breakfast buffet! The variety of food offered there was big and it tasted very good. Our room was actually perfect, except for the fact that it was quite small. But the balcony, including two loungers, was even bigger. We also only found out afterwards, when reading some reviews, that you get free access to a nearby beach + loungers. Here we would have liked this to be communicated directly at the reception upon arrival.

If you are wondering where to stay in Mykonos, think about staying here. This hotel is new, super clean and the swimming pools are just superb. It’s so close to the beach that it’s practically beach front. The staff is nice (including Hassan who helped us with the bags), but sometimes I missed some authenticity on the service (instead of the scripted hotel behavior). For the cherry in the cake, take a room with sea view. Update: given minus 1 star for this. the service of the sun-bed granted from the sister hotel (beach front) is very poorly done. People leave random towels and pretend to be there - which is endorsed by the host. Be prepared to pay extra for sunbeds in another location.

Booked a last minute package via EJ 28/9/24 -5/10/24 B&B @ a great price|( so last minute can be cheaper!! ) guess as it was nearing end of season|A cab from JMK Airport 10min drive costs us about €30 ( we forgot that hotel provide this service for free) 🫣 if you call them! |On arrival was surprised how many steps ( it’s elevated into a cliff) |Thankfully a lovely smiley Porter was waiting @ bottom for us when we arrived & carried them up to reception our cases went from there into lift to first floor & he then carried them up further steps by bar area to our room ( very fit) |Room:- 122 |This room was advertised as a side sea-view/lateral view with a balcony |But it had a full on sea view as you had vistas of the whole bay & spiros island slightly to the left ( stunning) 🤩 |this rooms balcony directly overlooked the smaller pool which couldn’t be seen from our balcony due to the inside restaurant roof below, view to the larger infinity pool to the right & directly opposite the jacuzzi ( “ very pleasant surprise” ) for what we paid! (AWSOME ) 😍|The room was very spacious, lovely big walk in shower with small private window |& toiletries provided & regularly replenished|The room was large enough to manoeuvre around without feeling cramped |The bed was the biggest (super king or queen) we’ve ever slept in while abroad |(which is lovely when it’s hot) 27c- 30c during our week there! |incredibly firm & comfy with soft silky pillows ( slumber heaven😇) | We never used the air con just slept with the balcony doors open with a lovely light breeze |(Mykonos is a windy island but we only experienced this on 1 day of our stay!) |That day we decided to go into Mykonos town (great idea) as the 2 cruise liners were unable to dock so it wasn’t as buzy 🙏|Small modern open style wardrobe inc iron board, hairdryer, modern digital safe, |mini fridge also a dressing table with modern mirror above for us ladies! (Perfect)|Ample lighting & sockets |Balcony was semi private ( when laying on lounger if you placed your towels over balcony to obscure sunbathers below! ) I felt the loungers were rather too heavy & large for the balcony but you could still have room for the small table & manoeuvre around! |Breakfast:- |The breakfast hall was lovely tables inside & outside to include continental & hot foods including pancakes, waffles 🧇 etc ( yummy 😋) |Ample choice a great varied selection that changed daily! |It never felt overly buzy & so much to choose from, a highlight to the start of our day! |Location:- |At bottom of hotel turn left past acrogiali hotel there’s a small supermarket on your left, just after this a steep slope takes you down through a very pretty garden area with apartments that leads you into the sister hotels reception & restaurant over looking Gialos Pilatos beach where you can use free sun loungers with your card! |We stayed on this beach for a couple of days, & then discovered a much nicer bay |Psarou ( out of hotel turn right, past cafe on corner through alley straight ahead | just a 10min short walk |Much nicer more scenic quieter bay with a celebrity hotel (Nammos) tucked away in far corner & small village behind with designer shops |The loungers on this beach cost €30 for two ( out of season) we believe they are €150 peak season |Stunning bay & not overcrowded crystal clear waters with lot’s small fish! 🐠 🐟 (paradise) |“Who needs long haul to the Caribbean?, “ |Summary:- |Highly recommend this stunningly modern, immaculately clean hotel with all of their lovely friendly hardworking smiley staff ( esp the young Sandy coloured haired choc aholic waitress @ breakfast ) always so chatty & pleasant to chat with every morning ( sorry forgot your name) |We very rarely return to same hotel or area in Greek islands as we love to explore & have different experiences but this hotel tops our very long list of Greek 🇬🇷 hotels & islands that we’ve visited by far! |we were also both blown away by Mykonos Town |Highly highly recommend this wonderful boho Hotel & island experience |Thank you all @ George for your warm hospitality & making Mykonos Magical for us! |We’ve no doubt we will...

We stayed at The George Hotel in Mykonos from August 22nd to 28th, 2024, for a family holiday with two adults and two kids (ages 11 and 13). From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The hotel arranged for our airport pickup, and their driver set the tone with his friendliness, making sure to engage with our kids during the short 10-minute drive to the hotel.

As someone who is very particular, I often find myself disappointed with accommodation, but this was not the case with The George Hotel. The hotel is stunning, with immaculate cleanliness and well-maintained facilities. Upon our arrival, the staff warmly welcomed us, and a porter promptly delivered our luggage to our family room. The room itself was spacious, with a large balcony offering a great view of the sea. It had everything we needed - two TVs with Netflix, ice-cold air conditioning, a powerful and spacious shower, and a pristine bathroom. Each day, we returned to find the room absolutely spotless, with fresh towels and neatly made beds. A credit to the housekeeping team. The room also featured the usual safe, a nice coffee machine, and a fridge. The beds were incredibly comfortable too. Despite being booked up, the hotel was quiet, and we experienced no intrusive noise. The bar area was a good place to hang out, and we met some great people.

The outdoor pools were a highlight, as they were large and often uncrowded, allowing us to enjoy them almost entirely to ourselves. The poolside bar served excellent food, and the modern, relaxed ambiance made it the perfect spot to unwind. The bar area was well-designed, and the staff were consistently friendly and attentive. We particularly appreciated the service buttons at both the pool and the beach, allowing us to easily order drinks and food whenever we wanted - which were always delivered without any issues, by the fabulous staff.

A fantastic perk of staying at The George Hotel is access to complimentary sunbeds (*subject to availability) at their sister hotel, Acrogiali Beach on the beachfront. Towels were provided and this will save you between 100 to 150 euros per day compared to some of the other vendors. The beachfront itself is absolutely beautiful, and reached with a short 4-minute walk from the hotel. The food at Acrogiali beach was also excellent, and we took the opportunity to explore a few local dining spots along here (We ate ate Yialo Yialo 3 times - great food, atmosphere and also highly recommended!)

For anything we needed outside the hotel, Sunrise Supermarket was our go-to. Kostas, the owner, was exceptionally helpful and fun, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. When my son accidentally dropped a can of drink, Kostas refused to let us pay for it, showing the kind of hospitality that made our stay even more special.

During our six-night stay, we found it nearly impossible to fault anything. The cleanliness, amenities, and overall experience were top-notch. However, what truly made our stay unforgettable was the exceptional staff. A special thanks to Gianni, who organized our boat trip to Delos and Rhenia Islands—a standout experience that I highly recommend to anyone...

For my 4-day trip to Mykonos, I traveled with my family of seven. It was myself with my three children ages 10, 13, and 15, and my parents. Initially, I was looking for a property directly on the beach. When I spoke with people at the Acrogiali they informed me that they had no availability, however they said I should speak with their sister hotel The George. At first I was hesitant because it was not directly on the beach which was what I really wanted for my kids, but once I realized there weren't many other options, I went ahead with the booking. I was concerned that we were going to be too far away from the beach despite the fact they said it was only a short walk. Once I arrived to the property I was so pleased to learn that the walk to the beach was not even 5 minutes. It was barely a 3-minute walk from the front door down to the beach. What turned out to be a lovely surprise was that by being elevated over the beach up on the hills, we had an exceptional view with stunning sunsets. We learned that guests at other hotels came to the George Beach for the two beautiful Infinity swimming pools which were highly sought after. They offered amazing views of the beach and a good portion of the island. The hotel staff was extraordinarily helpful and accommodating. My father who was in a wheelchair for the trip was tended to at every turn. No matter where we went, there was a member of the staff willing to help. Every morning there was a lovely breakfast buffet by the pool that was a terrific way to wake up with the family. The rooms were all spacious, modern and beautiful. Knowing that Mykonos is largely a party island, we wanted somewhere with some activity, but not too much over the top. This was a perfect combination. The beach promenade was filled with very nice Beach clubs and cafes, and the expected gorgeous people you would hope to see on Mykonos. Every morning we would wake up and see massive yachts parked on the water. This is clearly where the billionaires hang out. Everywhere you turned there are a lot of younger people, beautifully dressed and looking for a good time on Mykonos while they were also a good number of families from across the globe. From the moment we arrived and our driver Costas introduced himself, every member of the staff was extraordinarily gracious and kind. The hotel itself exceeded all expectations as a hillside resort. Everything was freshly painted bright white just like you would expect. The bar at the pool had a super cool and chill vibe and the bartenders were friendly with just the right balance of friendly, small talk and terrific service. The drive into town was about 20 minutes during traffic, and 10 minutes without traffic. If you're looking to be in the downtown party area, this may not be the perfect place for you. But if you're looking for somewhere that is easily accessible to the beach, an amazing view, and a luxurious series of swimming pools, you have to check this out. If you like taking pictures and selfies and posting on social media, you will fill your camera roll with picture after picture. It really is a...
