We booked a superior room (the most expensive) with a terrace with the view that we'd be able to relax outside and look at the pool (as the pictures on their website depicted). We had a wonderful view of a carpark (see picture) and the noise of the carpark all night as people came and went!! We asked to move rooms - our request was declined. The room was large, the bed comfortable, it was cleaned every day and the sheets changed daily also. ||Their were no drawers and no wardrobes, just a couple of shelves, a bench (who needs a bench in a bedroom?) and hanging rail. There was no safe in the room (the absolute basic that you would expect on holiday!) nor was their an iron or ironing board - these were all available at reception - but who wants to be going backwards and forward to reception to collect your money / valuables? ||No welcome drinks on arrival. ||There were two coffee cartridges in the room and 2 bottles of water in the fridge on day 1, none of these items were replenished. ||Breakfast (included) was nice (served 08:00 - 11:00). It was a small buffet, which had the same things every day expect for potatoes, mushrooms and vegetables which seemed to be rotated. After 7 days it became a bit same/same. Had to buy our own breakfast tea as their was none (mint, chamomile, earl grey etc no breakfast tea). ||Around day 4 our bathroom flooded as the shower drain and shower overflow were not draining - video attached. This was rectified the next day but in the interim we were asked not to shower (including the next morning if we could help it) with no interim provision provided and no apology for the issue. ||The pool was lovely but cold - I guess this is open to interpretation though. There was very rarely people around the pool in the day or evening.||The place itself is on a hill. Mykonos is very windy and in the hotel seemed to be noticeable more than down on the beaches (which were windy, but i felt less so). This is perhaps why the pool was never busy. Their are mixed showers and toilets for the pool outside. Of the 2 toilets one has a door with no lock and the other has no door !!!!!!!!!! (Pics added) ||You can walk into a couple of beaches from the hotel (Plati Gialos and Ornos) - both maybe 20-30 mins. There's a bus stop near the small supermarket at the bottom of the road near the hotel. We had a car thankfully, and I would recommend that if you stay here you get a car as it's not particularly close to anything and there are no pavements in Mykonos (roads are very busy and narrow). ||As we had a late flight leaving we asked if we could have a late checkout (checkout was 11am) or at least somewhere to take a shower before we left given the hassle over the shower earlier in the week and the terrace situation. Initially the answer was no. We were told there was an outdoor shower by the pool. On asking where we were supposed to get changed the manageress' response was (wait for it ...............) in reception. I mean WTAF! We were supposed to get changed in reception?!?! The next day we had a phonecall and were told we could extend the room but no time was given. On the day that we left we were told that we could stay in the room until 5:30pm, which we were grateful for. ||The staff were really nice and helpful generally.||Would I recommend - probably not. |Would I go back myself - definitely not. |Its lovely to look at but the place has absolutely...

Dear Eleni and the team at Philosophy of Mykonos Boutique Hotel,
On behalf of Echolatino Viajes and our entire group, I would like to express our most sincere gratitude for the wonderful experience we had during our recent stay.
A very special thank you goes to Eleni, the morning receptionist, whose kindness, professionalism, and dedication truly made our three days in Mykonos unforgettable. Her assistance was exceptional — she personally arranged rental cars and quads for our group, always with a smile and a willingness to help.
Eleni alone embodies 100% of the excellence and heart that a boutique hotel should offer. Her presence each morning was not only helpful but filled our days with joy and confidence. She is a true gem and a credit to your hotel.
We will gladly recommend Philosophy of Mykonos Boutique Hotel to all our travelers, not only for its comfort and location, but for the genuine warmth of people like Eleni.
With appreciation and warm regards, Francisco Montás...
Read moreThe hotel room was spacious and clean. There is a great view from balcony especially sunset time. All staffs I met were very friendly and kind. I preferred to stay somewhere quiet but still not too far away from both airport and Mykonos Town with a good access on supermarket and this hotel was perfect! There is a bus you can get to the Mykonos Town (just get off at Fabrica Bus Station). The bus stop is in front of the supermarket and comes every 30 mins (costs €2). The cocktail in the hotel pool bar is quite reasonable compared to all the fancy bars in Mykonos town so I would recommend to just take a sip in this hotel’s pool side while watching the beautiful sunset🩷 Also, the receptionist was very helpful on my request. When I asked for a blanket bc i felt a little bit cold during the night and she immediately asked to the housekeeping staff to bring it to my room and also she explained in detail how to take a bus to get to Mykonos Town, really...
