Efisia Greek Fine Dining — Restaurant in Municipality of Mykonos

This dinner was INCREDIBLE. First of all, the hotel Myconian Ambassador is STUNNING. Modern, ambient, and very upscale-feeling. We were welcomed warmly by the front desk staff. The concierge took us upstairs in the elevator and walked us to the host at the restaurant. Nice touch. And just the beginning of an evening full of fine food and exceptional service.

I’m not even sure I’ll be able to remember to include all of the thoughtful little details that were part of this dinner. They really thought of everything.

The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. Comfortable seats, too. We were seated in front of the open wall that overlooks the pool and Platys Gialos beach.

Once they took our water order, a server came by with a box of water garnish choices. They also served bread with an excellent olive oil and olives. The amuse bouche was a perfect piece of tempura tuna sushi roll. While the tasting menus were very tempting, we were drawn to a few items on the a la carte menu. Turns out we did well with our choice, because the shrimp terrine was the best bite of our trip! The risotto and sea bass were also fantastic. Two regrets – I passed on a cocktail and instead had wine. I wish I’d tried something from their cocktail menu. Also, we were so full from dinner that we didn’t even attempt to eat dessert. The sweet bites they brought us were perfect, but I’m left wondering how amazing a full dessert would have been! Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. The restaurant is located at the pool of the hotel with a very nice view. You can give your car to the valet parking at the entry. The chairs are very comfortable and the place is very fine decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had for aperitif their signature whisky cocktail, and it was delicious. Als entrée I had the grilled shrimps with vegetables. All fresh and very tasty with a lemony sauce. As first I had the fish of the day in filet with vegetables acompanied with a Greek white wine. For dessert galacto-something very tasty too. The music was a little loud but people could converse in normal tones. I strongly recommended...

The atmosphere is amazing! We did the 7 course meal so don't fill yourself up with the bread. Even though the portions were small, the bread and drinks can be filling. The area is definitely great for pictures too! I didn't know what to expect with all the courses, but I felt like it took a long time for each meal to come out after we finished one, especially it being small portions. We did have 13 people in our group so it probably took a while to get all plates done but we did pre-book and we didn't have to order aside from drinks.
