HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - STAY AWAY Due to a flight delay I arrived later than planned to this place. I informed the host about the delay, and was reassured that the door would stay open and that anyway someone would always be reachable on a number I was given. When I got to the place after a long trip, the door was closed and nobody answered my sms and multiple calls. I was left outside with my suitcase, in a street under construction at 1am and had to find myself a plan B accomodation at this time of the night in Nafplion, where I was travelling for business. That's how my first nightmare night out of 5 nights booked went. The morning after I emailed them asking when I could check in and the reply I got didn't refer at all to what happened, and no apologies neither - business as usual! I don't know if the most shocking part is the fact they left their client behind the door in the middle of the night or if they charged me for that night!! So on day 2 I checked in and discovered this rat place that hasn't been renovated for a couple of decades, with such thin walls that you can hear every single move or person walking behind the room door. The cherry on the cake was when I got waken up by the person upstairs who was snoring in the middle of the night. Then again when that person was walking around the room as there is just NO sound isolation in between floors. The next day got even worse when 2 girls moved in and I could almost listen to their conversation all night long. It is true that we are talking about a cheap place but if at least I had been allowed to get in my room when I arrived, maybe I could have got over the condition of this place. But the way these people treat their clients is not human. And then they have the guts to charge me for leaving me in the street. BTW as lots of reviews already mentionned the photos are very much misleading - this place should definitely be closed until it gets...

I am Greek but will write this awful experience in English. First and foremost you get to stay in a tiny room without the possibility to put somewhere your wet beach wear and towels. The room is only for people who travel with one backpack and not with a big suitcase because there is simply no space. Furthermore the room smells moldy since there is only one tiny window to get some air into the room and the bathroom. However that wasn’t even the biggest issue. This woman is a cheater and as far as I see now there are other people having similar experiences. We booked via booking and I gave my credit card details. After our 2 night stay, I asked her in person if we could please pay with my boyfriend’s bank card instead of mine . She agreed and ensured me that she’d refund the amount back to my credit card which she did. BUT After a few days she withdrew AGAIN the payment from my credit card. Long story short, after calling her multiple times (on different phone Numbers) she picked up once saying that someone would call me back. To this day I’m waiting for that call. Eventually I reported her as a fraud to my bank and went to the police to press charges. My advice: STAY AWAY from this hotel. There are many others in Nafplio for...
Read moreStay somewhere else. There’s no reception. You show up to the front of the hotel and it’s super unclear what to do and where to go. They leave two numbers to call. One doesn’t work at all, and the other isn’t on WhatsApp. When you call, they treat you like the biggest inconvenience in the world. The woman who answered the phone literally mocked me and laughed at me when I asked questions.
The rooms are nothing like they look in the photos. The furniture is very old, stained, and not like the pictures. A large window in my SHOWER opened directly to the hall, and was covered by a moldy blind that wasn’t meant to be pelted by water every day.
Every day was a new experience. One day they cleaned my bathroom but didn’t make my bed. The next day they made my bed but some of my balcony furniture was gone.
If you have any mobility issues at all, don’t stay here. There’s a huge step up into the bathroom, and the narrow winding steps have less than 5 ft clearance. Also, be prepared to schlep your own bags through the maze. I don’t recommend trying to get through here with anything more than a backpack.
They also really need to fix the broken planks at the landing between the stairs. Twice I tripped and almost flew down the other flight of stairs, it was...
