Navria — Hotel in Municipality of Nafplio

Perfect luxury hotel right in the middle of Nafplio’s Old Town with modern decor (and large rooms), lovely people, and great breakfast! The room: The room we stayed in was so spacious with a California King bed, separate sitting area, gorgeous balcony overlooking the square, and beautiful modern finishes on everything (they said the hotel was just renovated in the fall, and it is obvious in everything from the tasteful decor to the heated floors in the bathroom - it felt like walking into a newly-built, fully-furnished luxury apartment building). I also loved how the hallway always smelled amazing. The people: The owner was so responsive and kind. He gave us great (and honest!) recommendations for what to do around the town. This is a three-generation family-run business (the original hotel used to be their house) and you really do get that intimate B&B vibe. The breakfast: was probably our favorite meal from our entire two week trip in Greece! We got asked how we liked our eggs when we checked in and in the morning the owner’s mom came out with everything when we came downstairs: eggs, bacon, tea, along with multiple types of fruits and breads (croissants, cheese-filled phyllo dough, sweet cakes). Absolutely one of best parts of our stay in Nafplio was this lovely pension hotel. It is recently remodeled, so the room, furnishings, and bathroom were top notch and so comfortable. The location is just steps away from just about everything, with the main town on one side, and the beach and fortress on the other side.

But without a doubt the best part of the visit was the amazing staff! Everyone was so welcoming and helpful, giving us great advice on sightseeing and other logistics. The breakfast was amazing each day, including an assortment of homemade pastries. Housekeeping was wonderful and the entire hotel was spotless and beautifully maintained.
