Expected more after reading the reviews. Coffee was ok, the yoghurt with fruits ok but nothing to write home about and i also got what was described as fried eggs with tomato and graviera cheese which was well actually just that. 2 fried eggs and in a small plate 2 slices of tomato and 2 small slices of cheese and a miserably small slice of pepper. I was expecting something more. Well, maybe my mistake. My main complains though come from the place itself. There where only 3 small tables outside, placed one beside the other. It was around 8:30 am and cars and motorbikes would occasionally past infront of us disturbing with their noise an otherwise peacefull place. Then there were 3 dogs walking around and occasionally barking at passing-by cars, people or other dogs. Got nothing against dogs I just would prefer not having them around me while taking breakfast. The, otherwise kind and helpfull stuff were feeding them so that's why they were hanging around. Then around 9 the shop next to kalimera opened and the owner placed a stand full of hats just beside our table, to be precise he almost placed it ON our table . I could tell by his face that he was annoyed by the placement of tables just next to his shop but that was not my mistake. It was a pure lack of professionalism. In a few words a disappointing place to have breakfast and...

We arrived there after one o'clock ( the place closes at two) for a breakfast. We looked at the menu and decided to take the Greek breakfast set for 9.5 EU. Another smart decision was to share one portion, since it looked like a lot of food for one person. It is easy for me to share with my teenage daughter since she doesn't drink coffee or eat much.
The feast started with Greek coffee the traditional way, the way I like it. Fresh squeezed orange juice accompanied the coffee. A basket of bread, butter and two kinds of home made jams and honey as well. The apricot jam was just like my late grandmother used to make. After that we were served an omelette beated with vegetables and probably ham, I am not sure, but it was delicious. Another plate with ham rolls, a pice of ham and cheeses pie, two pieces of local cheeses and two dried bread with 🍅 and spices, some olive, what else can a man would want?
Yes, a dessert, ours was a cheese cake. It was light cheese beated in fresh cream on cookies crumbs topped with cherry syrup.
We hardly could finish all off this magnificent display of pleasure good made of quality ingredients.
The service was quick with a smile.
Highly recommended, we will...
Read moreHad a 4 egg omelette with turkey, peppers, tomatoes and feta cheese. The omelette I had in my plate though was quite plain and after 4-5 bites I couldn't find any of the other ingredients besides the eggs. I had a look at the rest of the omelette and there were a few bits of cheese and peppers here and there and there was just a slice of tomato on the side. I was a bit annoyed and didn't eat it. When the waitress came to collect our plates she asked if everything was ok and I explained her the reason I didn't have my omelette. Her respond was "we will keep this in mind for the future"?! After a few minutes the manager came to me to apologise and ask me if I would like anything else to have? Since my friend had finished hers (which in all fairness she found it good) and we had finished our coffees already I declined her offer. The manager removed the amount of my omelette from the bill too. So, in the end the manager's response was fair and professional but when you are going to a place with expertise in breakfasts and paying 8-9 euros for an omelette you expect it to be more than eggs and just a few pieces of the other ingredients. Or you can price it...
