Teory — Restaurant in Municipality of Nafplio

Visited Teory with a group of 7 friends which included several native Greeks from Lygourio. We started at Teizrs with a few drinks and moved to Teory to continue the night.

Unfortunately, the quality of the drinks was very poor. I ordered the Jennie Jennie - a cocktail with a gin base, ginger, lime and cucumber. I received something so repugnant that I was unable to finish. My friend ordered a Porn Star (standard cocktail) and received a solution so saccharine not even a teenager would enjoy. If the fruit puree was not expired, it had to be from a source that does not require quality assurance or checks by health and safety. We ordered one to two drinks each and shared hookah together. In the end, 5 drinks were barely touched. Half of our group found their drinks to be poorly made and undrinkable. While this was pretty bad, worst of all was the service.

SERVICE SUMMARY IN 3, 2, 1: 3: We had to ask 3 times to get our bill and pay. 2: We saw our server only twice in 2 hours. 1: The cost of this single experience was €126.

We mentioned that we were disappointed with the drinks and were met with silence. We paid our bill and were to dejected to continue on.

FINAL NOTES: As a tourist with limited time, I would not recommend. BUT if you want a thoroughly disappointing experience at a high high price, look no further- Teory is the place for you! They offer a costly way to have a frustrating night in the beautiful...

Terrible!!! It looks nice from the outside and inside, but the food and service are a joke! We ordered the orzo pasta with parmesan, truffle oil and mushrooms. We canceled the mushrooms. We also ordered brushetta caprese. The food arrived quickly, which is strange. As two vegetarians, we naturally thought that the pasta was vegetarian because it only listed: parmesan, truffle fries, creamy mushrooms. The pasta came with chicken. We returned it and got new ones. It tasted like rice pudding! Mushy and disgusting! When the bruschetta came to the table, the waitress dropped a slice. She just smiled stupidly and didn't offer to bring us new ones. Which should be a matter of course. We both also work in service in restaurants and that is the minimum. When we ordered new food because it wasn't our fault, we were charged for it anyway. Visit in this restaurant was very awkward. We ordered some food and drinks. While beeing served with drinks, the waiter dropped the tray with drinks on the ground spilling orange juice on back of one of my friends white dress, leaving glass everywhere. Mistakes happens, but we didn't hear any apology. The glass and juice was also left on the floor until we were done with food. We asked for a discount or any other way of compensation. The waiter was extremely irritated, didn't apologize, didn't want to allow us to talk to the manager.
