I really wanted to have a fabulous stay here as I have been to Rhodes and Faliraki many times, and these apartments had been recommended to me. We arrived late at night and were greeted with a warm welcome. On first impressions, the studio was basic but very cute with unique decor and what appeared to be handmade furnishings. There was a small kitchen area and kettle. No dining area though as stated on booking.com when we booked. Not important as we ate out mostly but just worth noting if you do eat in your room. Unfortunately, my opinion changed quickly after the first few days. The beds were extremely uncomfortable with springs digging in and the bed squeaking with every minor movement, I was with my mum and neither of us had a decent night's sleep for the duration of the holiday and both left with back pain. We also had an issue with our bathroom, which we found unclean and unhygienic. Our main issue was the drain in the middle of the floor was clearly blocked and was bubbling over every time we had a shower and we noticed it was full of gunk and very dirty which was building up as the days went on, it made me feel sick everytime i saw it...see attached photo. The cleaning of the room was pretty much non existent, the bedding and towels were changed around twice a week (as advertised which was fine) but no other areas of the room were cleaned including the floors. The sheets and towels we were provided with were old and full of stains. There was a sign up In the room stating that any stains on towels/linen due to makeup sun lotion etc would be charged for damages but the fact that we were provided with towels and sheets that already had stains on them was concerning. Another point regarding cleanliness, we had a filthy toilet brush In our room which was far from appealing. Also, you have to buy your own toilet roll which i have never heard of before and again was advertised as included when we made the reservation. It is only supplied on arrival. |The service was far from the Greek hospitality that I have experienced previously. A few days before we left, I asked about a late check out room. A very disinterested lady (almost like i was putting her out) told me it would be 30e to keep the room an extra 5 hours, which we paid because we had a late flight. The 30e charge was actually more than we paid for the nightly room rate so I am not sure why it was so excessive, especially since the apartments were now pretty empty because of it being the end of season!! On check out I took back all the keys, air con control etc and the man supposedly manning reception was sitting in the bar adjacent to the desk with a cigarette and on his phone with his feet up. He did not even get out of the chair and come to the desk to greet me, ask me if my stay was OK or wish me a safe journey home, or even check I had brought everything back! I was completely taken by surprise at the lack of interest.|I love Rhodes and I have been visiting for 10 years but I will not return to Lisabeth again. I am not sure if it was because it was the end of season but I was very underwhelmed by the whole experience. And yes, I always go to basic apartments so this wasn't my issue. A minimum expectation is that the accommodation is clean and the service is friendly and Lisabeth did not deliver this...
Read moreWe booked this as a last minute holiday and wasn't sure what to expect. On arrival you get dropped off infront of a supermarket, where some of the staff from the hotel work. You walk around the back and you're at the hotel. We were greeted with a friendly smile and welcome. We found the rooms very basic, however we didn't spend much time in there so it was fine for us . The shower room was a wet room and the shower space was very small. The kitchen had 2 hobs, a few plates, 2 mugs and glasses, saucepans and cutlery which was adequate for the 2 of us. We were surprised there was no toaster or microwave being self catering. However, the food on site was so cheap that you may as well get them to cook for you, (who wants to cook on holiday anyway?) We could of done with a dustpan and brush especially with the sand etc. The Aircon worked well. Theo and the other members of staff were really friendly and easy to talk to. I'd definitely go back again.
We visited at the end of May and the temperatures were between 25-38 degrees. The beach was a few minutes walk and was lovely. The sunbeds were 5 euros each and we found there was a lovely breeze most days to bring the temperature down a bit. There was a man selling bowls of fruit for 5 euros, which was...
Read moreI don’t normally leave reviews but I felt I had to on this occasion. Where do I start… these apartments are one of the best I have stayed in. Clean, location perfect… meters from the beach, right by the strip but tucked away enough from all the noise. The staff are the loveliest, so incredibly helpful. The apartment itself was stylish, beautifully decorated and very very clean. The pool area was one of the cleanest I have seen (the staff make sure it is clean and tidy every night). There is no expense spared on this apartment complex. 10/10 for me. We are hoping to come back with our 4 month old twins in 2 weeks, it is so family friendly. Just a massive thank you to all the staff for making a great environment and a very joyful stay for our first time in Falaraki. See you soon ❤️ Ps. What I wanted for breakfast, they didn’t have but were more than happy to go and source it for me. What better service can you have!
We got the bus from the end of the strip (5 min walk) to Rhodes town for €2.50pp. The bus took 20 mins. We used Hoppa to collect us from the airport and dropped us (20 mins, first drop) right at the entrance of Lisabeth apartments £18pp return.
If you are going to stay anywhere in Falaraki… this...
