Always a magical experience – and definitely not our last! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is the third time we’ve had the pleasure of staying at Enigma Suites . The first time felt like arriving in paradise. The second, like coming back to visit friends. And this time… it certainly won’t be the last!
The hotel is small and intimate, ideally located, with a breathtaking view probably the most beautiful I’ve ever seen, and we travel! The rooms have been recently renovated with great taste, cozy, welcoming, and all opening onto private terraces with a direct view of the caldera. They’re very well equipped, and we were greeted with a lovely bottle of local wine, a thoughtful touch we truly appreciated.
The staff are absolutely wonderful, always smiling, always available, and genuinely caring. This time, we had the chance to meet the family who owns the hotel. They welcomed us as if we were longtime friends. We shared a drink at the bar, followed by a delicious light snack in a stunning setting. If you’re passing through Fira, don’t miss the chance to stop by the bar for a drink (or more!) the view is absolutely worth it. It was a magical moment we’ll never forget.
And of course, we can’t fail to mention Chrisoula, the amazing front desk manager. From our very first meeting, it was love at first sight her warm smile, her professionalism, her attentiveness… She knows the island inside out and gave us fantastic recommendations throughout our stay. Thanks to her, we discovered an incredible restaurant, a magical place with stunning views, flawless service, and delicious food.
If you’re looking for an unforgettable experience in Santorini, a place where you’ll wake up every morning to a breathtaking view, look no further: go see Chrisoula at Enigma Suites . You won’t be...
Read moreWe stayed for a wedding on the island and didn’t want to leave! The rooms were spacious, bathrooms were beautiful, service was exceptional.
Rooms- we stayed in a junior suite. The view was unmatched. The terrace had a lovely two person table and a lounging chase facing the water. The queen bed was comfortable and the sheets were exceptional. The WiFi, electronics, and other amenities worked perfectly. The room also comes stocked with a mini fridge and daily water to drink.
Service- the staff are very accommodating, the cleaning staff work quickly, the bellmen are very strong. On arrival the receptionist did an outstanding job providing rooms to the 17 person party (she ran up and down the hotel’s stairs numerous times). During our stay we inquired about massages, they provided us with options. At check out they arranged for a cab and the bellman took our bags all the way down the hill and waited with us until the driver came.
Location- we spent some time in Athens and Mykonos before arriving to Santorini. Enigma was by far the most beautiful place we stayed with the most breathtaking views. Every morning we woke up absolutely flabbergasted at the sunrise but nothing in the world could compete with a Santorini sunset on your terrace at Enigma. Around the hotel is a pedestrian only area with plenty of shops and activities.
I will warn any individuals with handicap requirements that Enigma may not be the best choice as the entire hotel has only stairs…. Several slippery floors of them.
Thank you...
Read moreWe stayed at Enigma Suites for our honeymoon in early October. Generally our experience was positive although we did have a major hiccup throughout our stay that I think it is worth noting to other guests who are considering staying here.
I will start with the positives! The staff here is absolutely amazing. Very positive, friendly, and communicative. They serve breakfast every morning and the views are out of this world! They helped us with our bags as there are quite a few steps to get to and from your room. They also explained the area very well and gave us suggestions for where to go and eat!
Unfortunately, we did have a problem with an intense sulfur smell in our bathroom during our stay. It got so bad we had to request someone to come in and clean every day specifically in the bathroom. They treated it with chemicals and called a plumber on the 2nd day, but we still smelled it after. For this type of hotel and cost, I would probably suggest booking elsewhere in Santorini. Although I greatly appreciated them taking measures to remedy the problem the fact of the matter still stood. We were considering moving to another room but there’s only 8 and they were all booked.
Overall, 3/5. Without the sulfur smell in our bathroom it would have...
