Ultimately I was able to get what I needed but the conversation went something like this:
-- Me: I need anti nausea medication, preferably containing dimenhydrinate.
Him: We don't have dimenhydrinate in Greece at all. But you can get this: (places herbal ginger pills in front of me)
Me: No thanks, I'd like something actually medicated.
Him: Are you American?
Me: No.
Him: Oh, Americans love this stuff (the ginger pills), this is all they want. Hmm, let me see.
(Spends time on the computer).
So in the end I was able to get some (non placebo) anti nausea pills. But guess what the main active ingredient in Vertigo N is? Dimenhydrinate, the thing that's supposedly not available in Greece 😂
