A Delicious Greek Experience – highly recommended 🫶
We recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming Greek taverna, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. With such a wide variety of tempting dishes on the menu, we decided to try the mixed starters to get a little taste of everything – and we were not disappointed! Every bite was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. My companion chose the gyros, which was equally delicious – juicy, well-seasoned, and served in a generous portion.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff truly made the visit special. They were incredibly helpful, genuinely kind, and had a great sense of humor that made us feel right at home.
We left with full bellies and big smiles, and it’s safe to say this place is worth visiting a hundred times over if you’re looking for a tasty meal, good laughs, and great value for money. We wholeheartedly recommend it – and if we get the chance, we’ll definitely be back for another memorable lunch or dinner! Regards from Poland and thank...
Read moreWhen walking around Fira, a lot of restaurants had empty tables, but Parea Tavern was full with a 30 minute wait. There is good reason for this. The service is outstanding and the food is incredible. We started off with the "variety" of dips which my wife and I agreed was the best Mediterranean dip platter we've ever had, and she used to manage a Greek restaurant in New York. For the entrees we ordered the swordfish souvlaki which was 11/10. Just a perfectly cooked skewer of swordfish and bell pepper served with warm pita and sauce. The fish platter for 2 checked all the boxes with a whole grilled fish, octopus, calamari, mussels, and shrimps. Service was on point: plates and silverware replenished after each course, food arriving quickly, and us never wanting for anything. Prices were very reasonable, with 3 of us spending a total of under €40 per person including a carafe of wine, bottled water, and a sprite for my son. I highly recommend visiting if youre in...
Read moreI highly recommend this restaurant when visiting Fira, Santorini. It's tucked in with the large assortment of other food places and shops but it's easy to find using Google Maps. We got there before they opened for lunch and returned just in time to be their first customers. Our waiter (sorry I forgot his name) was very courteous, professional, and attentive. His recommendations were definitely amazing. The appetizer sampler was a fitting lead in to their main course. We especially love the aubergine salad, tzatziki, tomato, and cheese balls. The fried calamari was a perfect blend of crisp, tenderness, and flavor. We also loved the spiced pork which was reminiscent of Filipino palate. The mixed seafood was fantastic, especially the grilled fish. They even gave us free dessert. Our waiter made sure to check up on us and even cleared up our table in time for the main course. This was truly an...
