Our stay at Eva’s House in the heart of Thira was nothing short of extraordinary. Eva was an exceptional host, going above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect holiday. She provided invaluable advice on the best places to visit and assisted us in renting a quad bike from Nikoleta, who was equally amazing. Their recommendations allowed us to explore traditional villages and beautiful beaches effortlessly.
A quad bike is essential for getting around Santorini, especially for reaching attractions like Red Beach, which involves navigating up and down a mountain. The experience of riding through the scenic landscapes was incredible and highly recommended. For those who prefer not to drive, the bus is a viable option, but the quad bike offered unparalleled freedom and convenience.
The accommodations at Eva’s House were outstanding. Our room, equipped with a plunge pool, offered breathtaking views that left us in awe. The daily cleaning service kept our space immaculate, and the Nespresso machine was a delightful bonus. Although the property is situated down a hill, the short 10-minute walk to Thira was easy and provided an excellent opportunity to enjoy the stunning surroundings.
One of the most memorable aspects of our stay was Eva's thoughtfulness in decorating our room as a surprise for my partner's birthday. This personal touch made our visit even more special and highlighted her exceptional hospitality.
Eva also organized our airport transfers, making the entire trip seamless and stress-free. Her attention to detail and genuine hospitality made our holiday extremely enjoyable and relaxing.
In summary, we couldn’t recommend Eva’s House enough. The combination of excellent accommodations, fantastic service, and ideal location made our stay unforgettable. If you’re visiting Santorini, a stay at Eva’s House is a must. 1000% would stay...
Read moreI have often traveled with booking and it was the worst rental experience of my life. It was traumatic.||We were two friends and we arrived around 10 p.m.||The host took us to our room and did a very quick check-in, she was careful not to show us the bathroom (I later understood why).||We went to bed and the next day we took a shower and noticed something seemed wrong on the shower door.||As this did not prevent us from taking our shower safely, we thought that this was normal and that it was part of the decoration.||We went for a walk and everything turned into a nightmare.||I started receiving messages from the owner telling me that I had broken the door and that she had to be reimbursed (€595).||I told him that the door was like that when we arrived and that we would not pay anything.||The owner got mad and told me that the police were looking for us and that we were going to end up in jail, then she told us to come and get our things ASAP.||When she arrived, she was waiting for us with her husband to impress us, she screamed that she was calling the police. We had to go quickly to collect our things and leave the hotel in a hurry.||It was clearly a scam that was planned from the start, we found ourselves on the street with our suitcases and we had to find new accommodation at our own expense (the owner refused to reimburse the remaining 3 nights!!), and booking a refused to help us.||There is a lot of accommodation available in Fira, one piece of advice: never rent this hotel!!||I add in PJ the threatening messages sent...
Read moreJust returned from our week stay at Eva's House. Eva was very friendly and welcoming, couldn't do more for you, she arranged our airport transfers for us no problems and was on hand for any taxi help and directions ect.|View from our room was beautiful (room 5) room was very clean, comfortable bed, air con & blinds made it easy to adjust temp as needed! There is a fridge and safe in the room with a welcome snack & bottle of water provided! Rooms cleaned daily, with fresh towels and beds made. An iron & ironing board were avaliable to use as needed. Separate towels were also provided to use at the pool which is great! Only tiny flaw I can think of is that the drain in the bathroom was a little smelly at times, but only as expected in Greece! Pool was great, clean, refreshing and most days had it to ourselves as guests are often out and about!|Location we found to be perfect, it was a 10 min walk up the hill into the town, far enough out to be very peaceful by the pool and on the balcony but close enough to the hustle and bustle! The walk would be a little tiring for anyone not great with mobility, but we got used to it after a couple of days! Only suggestion could be to have a snack/drinks tuk shop so you could purchase snacks and drinks/water whilst relaxing at the pool, however, the closet shop/supermarket is only about 8 mins walk! Parking is also available if you hire a car!|Thanks Eva & the team or our lovely...
