Los Tres Amigos — Restaurant in Municipality of Thira

The 1st time i came i got the veggie burrito. I asked for the mild chiptole sauce and it turned out to burn my mouth - it was on fire and i could not taste anything else. So it was disappointing as it seemed like it could have been nice (I didnt even order the "hot" chiptole sauce). The margarita also was not great as it came from a slushi machine as oppose to the ones from Boozery Bar.

The 2nd time i went i had the Veggie Quesadilla and asked them to make it extremely mild and not hot. It was ok but the dish was full of onions. The guamole was also full of onions (maybe i could just have ordered plan avocado in future).

I also actually liked the plastic chedder cheese nacho sauce on the potatoe wedges.

The vibe was nice in the restaurant and i appreciated the selection of vegetarian / vegan options.

Not the best mexican food in the world but i really enjoyed being able to have a change...

Only place that has Jaritos on the island (it's only missing the tamarindo one). The food as as authentic as it can get being thousands of miles away from home. The salsas are actually spicy, the flavors; while slightly; different because of imports is still fantastic. The guy who runs it has been to Mexico many times and definitely knows what he's doing. The one thing he bragged about was being able to make the Churros better than what he had in Mexico. I laughed and said bring it on. Let me tell you what this man brought to my table. 4 hot and freshly sprinkled cinnamon sugar sprinkled clouds of absolute divinity. This guy did it. He took my dessert...No, my childhood to a whole new level. Even if you don't go for the food, get the damn Churros. THEN...

Chimichangas were ok I guess nothing crazy taste wise, very few ingredients.

The frozen margarita was very nice maybe the best thing this place has to offer.

The prices on the other hand are not ok, I get that it maybe the only place that serves mexican on this island but come on, 19 euros for a barely ok chimichanga and a frozen margarita is not it.

If it was 15 euros for both I would consider giving them 4 stars.

Charging the same for takeaway and for dine in is a major foul for me.

Also I asked how much time will it take for my order to be ready and they said 10 minutes maximum, my order was ready after 25 minutes, I wouldn’t have any problem if they were upfront with how much time will it take, I would’ve gone for a stroll around Thira...
